I say play Escobar. No, he's not a great blocker, but neither are any of the other options. Put him in and see if he has the heart to step it up just a little.

Scour the market for a blocking specialist. Get Green healthy for the goal line/short yardage ala Parnell

He sealed the LB off to spring the winning TD by Zeke.

Swaim is going on IR, need to replace his spot on the active roster. Escobar was already on the roster. Whoever comes up is likely to be inactive anyway. Unless they can prove to be ST demon. We have already seen what Smith can do, or in this case "can't do", I'd rather give Mayle a shot.

In other news, this does not bode well for Hanna's return anytime soon.

if we are talking replacement, probably means IR - he is having surgery...

I was talking Gavin making one key block. My guess is Swaim is done this year if that injury is 'significant'. So we will need a replacement if so.

See if Nzoacha can play it. Worked at Fullback with Smith. Just need to block.

pats waived him from practice squad

He went to San Diego after that. Not sure if he is still there. Actually, just checked and he is not. He actually would be a decent replacement for Swaim. If not, let's see what Rico's got. He has a big body. Should be able to block some.
