Leinart, Young and Vick. It is going to be interesting to see where all these guys land.
Vick....6th rounder at the earliest unless some GM has lost all logic.

Still hope he stays though at Texas so we can repeat and he can win the Heisman which he should of won this year

It would definately suck if we lost young but we have top recruit in Jevan Snead, Not sure if you were watching the US army all american bowl today but he looked good when he was in there.

As the draft comes closer, look for this QB debate to heat up.

First and foremost, all signs are pointing towards the Texans taking Bush. I think the Texans have other needs personally and would be much better off trading down, acquiring some picks and actually making that team good. There OL leaves much to be desired and Bush is going another level of players now. He will need some decent blocking; he won't get it in Houston without some FA signings or some high draft picks.

I actually think Young should go #2 based on upside alone. I think Leinart is going to be a decent pro; he does everything well but does he do anything great? Reminds me of Brady a bit in that sense but you can see how well Brady has done with his biggest strength being his head.

Vick will be gone no later than the 3rd round. I wouldn't be surprised if someone took him in the first at all.

Drugs....underage sex, reckless driving, marijuana possession, alcohol to underage kids, driving with a revoked/suspended license etc. He just doesn't learn and, IMO, doesn't have the head to make it in the pros. His sense of entitlement is astounding.

VT said he was more trouble than he was worth, and this is a college program that could make alot of money by keeping him. Not only did they get rid of the problem, but they also essentially told Michael Vick "No, we don't want your money." if he were donating.

It'll be interesting to see which GM falls for it.

if someone takes vick in the first they will lose their job following the season guaranteed. He's like Lawrence Phillips, talent that has no brain.

I think he'll drop. All the media folks are all over him after the big game, but he's still the same QB. Teams will get nervous about his arm and he'll drop out of the top five by the time we get to the draft.

I dont know man. You guys would be the favorite to win it, but OSU looks like they are going to be tough and OU is silently but surely turning things around. Just ask Oregon..

If his name weren't Vick, would the story remain the same? Highly doubtful.

In 24 career games, the 6-foot, 212-pound Vick threw for 2,868 yards, 19 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He also ran 184 times for 492 yards and six TDs.

Texas without Vince Young goes nowhere. Even with that weak Big 12 schedule. Don't count out ND next year, despite their poor defensive showing against Ohio St., they have a ton of guys coming back. Texas plays Ohio St. early next year at Texas. Whoever loses that game is most likely out of the National Title hunt.

If Vince Young leaves, Texas will start Colt McCoy, a 3 star redshirt freshman

In other words, 8 wins tops

And unfortunately, the Aggies still probably wont compete.

You guys need to start making some noise down there about him. The Aggies have a bunch of talent but the results are just not there...kind of like the 2005 Dallas Cowboys.....

Yeah I saw parts of the game and Jevan Snead did look impressive, especially the TD throw to a receiver that I think is also going to Texas. I forgot his name

Big 12 stunk this year and you know it. Texas was awesome and that's it. Oklahoma had a down year and will be better next year. Nebraska down. Texas Tech? Please. Who else? Big 12 = weak. Bring it.

Yet, the Big 12 has the Champ....over a non-big 12 team....over a team that hasn't lost in how long?

You can't continually blame Texas for other teams woes.

If you think Texas will ever get a college QB like Vince Young again in your lifetime, keep dreaming. Texas w/o Vince will go back to what they've been the last few years, underachievers. The best talent, a bad coach and a disappointing season.

Like I said, Texas has an amazing team. Not taking anything away from them, they deserve it. The rest of the Big XII stunk.

Iowas St, Kansas, Kansas St, Texas A&M, Baylor, Okie St, Missouri, an over rated Texas Tech, a down Nebraska and a down Oklahoma. That is weak, that's all I'm saying.

Also, that's a weak argument Jim. That's like saying that the Big East was a good conference back when Miami won the National Title a few years back. Just becasue a the Big East had the National Champs we all know the conference was awful.

Please...

I gurantee you if Mack Brown stops the QB carousel and lets Major Applewhite QB, the Longhorns would have done much more.

You act like 9-10 win Seasons is whack...

I saw a Big 12 team beat supposedly the greatest team ever

I saw a 7-4 OU squad take out the Oregon Smucks...who B'ed and Moan'ed about not being in a BCS Game and was 6th overall in the Country

I saw a Big 12 Team go toe-to-toe with an Alambama team that was #2 in the country on defense and throughout most of the year, had hopes for an undefeated season

I also saw a Big 12 Team beat the Michigan Wolverines...ya know..the School with tons of tradition and has WON more games than any program in D-IA that is not named Notre Dame

GTH out here with that "Big 12 was garbage" crap...what Conference does your team play in anyway.....

This isnt you on this cover is it...because you definately have an agenda :) ?
