Voch breaks down Dak's performance vs Detroit Lions

Score was 6-3 but should have been 10-6 Cowboys had Noah Brown not fumbled inside the 10 as the Cowboys would have had a 1st & goal inside the 10 right before the half.
Evans dropped a wide open dime BOMB from Brady for a TD. So what? It happens.

QB would have been better if and but......

I'm not in the Dak hate crowd i assure you. "Ifs.. ands... buts" is not critical thinking but excuse making.

Just sayin'.... carry on.

Those 2 throws were not capable of being intercepted since our receivers got at least 1 hand of them in tight coverage. All the great QBs make such attempts, but Dak makes 2 and the Dak haters go nuts with accusations that don't fully or properly tell the whole story.
NO ONE...is telling the "whole story". Get my drift?

Do some more research

Also the guy that does his show with him is Skywalker Steele who does a show with Jesse Holly on game days
There is nothing there. The guy is a fan, with no experience playing, coaching or working for an NFL organization in any capacity.

His opinions are no more or less worthy than those of many of the avid fans here.

Does he have any actual experience that you can point to?

C'mon AC. Come back into the realm of reality. Not capable of being intercepted? Really? There was more traffic than a Wal Mart aisle on Black Friday.

Yes, all QB's make bad decisions sometimes or are forced to make attempts into coverage. That is a far cry from it being a good decision to begin with. Who went crazy with accusations? You posted a video for discussion. Even Voch said they weren't the best decisions. We are agreeing they weren't the best decisions.

It's not that Dak or anyone else makes questionable decisions, it's the frequency that concerns us.

All true, but it's absolutely wrong to use poor play from a WR against a QB.

The video doesn't lie. Time and time again, he is only accurate on 10 yard tosses and even then it's a crap shoot. He can't freaking hit a receiver in running stride. That one to Gallup was an embarrassment. A freshman in college would have made that 9 out of 10 times in stride for a TD.

When the game gets into crunch mode he just doesn't see or read defenses or safeties at all. Thus he throws into triple coverage. And his triple coverage throws are not in tight windows. That one with ceedee, he had to stop to make a catch on it.

And keep in mind this is all against the worst defense in the league.

I proudly stand up as a Dak hater because you homers need someone to help keep this grounded in reality. He is an average QB we are overpaying for and he has never been that accurate. We are in year 7. I just have to keep waiting maybe around year 11 and no SBs I will finally get to dredge up all of these posts and call out all of you Dak homers.

Maybe then you will realize you have 0 football IQ.
Paying the BUM 40 million and you gotta carry the BUM........Yep sounds logical only in DAK-Man-crush land!!!!

Why contribute to the 1,000 anti-Dak threads throughout this forum? I believe it's better to focus on the current, especially if Dak's performance proves all of his critics wrong because this bodes well for the Dallas Cowboys (team). Besides, no one is stopping you from creating your own Dak threads from focusing on his past poor performances.

His performance only helped prove that Dak is best as a bus driver, much like the claims were about Rush.

2 plays, yet that's frequency to you? Sounds more like a frequency to bash.

I saw a improved lions team, the defense look to play a lot harder than before. Dak had rust. He missed the first wide open pass that was 6.

Improved Lions defense? Interesting how some said Dak was going to destroy the pathetic Lions defense and even Dak said he was going to elevate the Dallas offense....but now suddenly the Lions defense played great and Dak had rust? LOL I love the back peddling.

...and if Detroit didn't fumble on the 1 they would have gone up 13-10 with 12:19 to play....and if Detroit didn't have 5 turnovers Dallas would not have scored 21 points off of those turnovers....and if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle.

Stop with the IF games as that works both ways.

He didn't play very good, just like the rest of the team. This isn't hard. Detroit just happened. How long are you going to reference the Tampa game? Or the 9ers game? Or last season?
Talk about agenda. We can fairly criticize the team or you can trash one guy.

Which looks more silly?

You mean how Dak fans reference ppg from 2020-2022 in a cherry picking approach to applaud Dak. Stop with the faux disgust as it works both ways.

So QBs don't have bad games? Why is it Dak can never have a bad throw much less a bad game but some of you praise other QBs who have more bad games or throws.

Name 1 QB that doesn't have a bad throw or a bad game

Yes, QB's have bad games but funny how certain members only post what they think is a good game by Dak instead of being unbiased.

LOL..

Man trying to say “it would have been a tight window throw” if the safety wasn’t there.l at 5 minutes…

How does Voch even know Dak is seeing the “bottom safety” with his hips out at 5:16? This guy operates under a lot of assumptions, which is comical because he’s ignoring the one main thing that can provide some detail into what Dak is allegedly seeing, which is by LOOKING DIRECTLY AT DAK.

I mean Voch, you even circle the safety and point out how his hips are turned at 5:55-6:00, but why not circle where DAK’S HIPS and HELMET ARE TURNED? I can guarantee you one thing, they are not facing anywhere in the location of where that safety is

Please Voch inform me how Dak is seeing the bottom safety turning his hip out, when Dak begins his read to the “top WR” and then goes immediately over the middle to CeeDee?

Dak didn’t even look like he dissect it was cover 2, or he did but he had a brain fart, because he looks to the top WR and then throws immediately over the top, ignoring the bottom safety.

This is just a typical example of Dak not being able to READ DEFENSES.

I keep telling you Dak can throw on his early reads, but he’s a mental midget and can’t process a defense to save his life. So yeah Voch that may have been a “tight window” if there was only one defender, but guess what? There wasn’t because Dak is just a mental midget at the QB position.
For literally every other qb in the league...it is a hell of a play by the safety who likely baited the throw by opening his hips the opposite direction for the PBU.

For Dak, it is....HE CAN'T READ DEFENCES and he is STUPID.

Can't make it up.

2 plays, yet that's frequency to you? Sounds more like a frequency to bash.

Folks claim they don't mind criticism as long as there is a solid basis. You present your viewpoint. Turns out .... they only want you to agree with anything they say.

What I noticed is ...

1. Our receivers seem to be in the same place on the field a lot,
2. Our receivers sometimes lollygag through their routes
3. Kellen Moore apparently doesn't like sending receivers through the middle of the field
4. If he does, it's usually sit-down routes

As an aside, I'd like to see an analysis of Dak against a defense that was "slightly" better than the Lions'. Just saying.

So instead of providing 'evidence' in the form of Dak's play against the 31st ranked defense in the league, how about video of how Dak fared against TB in week 1, or SF in the 2021 playoffs, KC last season, or DEN last season?
We should

But is that the only few? And what if I picked a few horrible game for all other QBs and do the same?

Typical response.

The Dak critics aren't the problem. I actually respect the arguments of the critics, especially the intelligent ones.

Its the low IQ, basement dwelling Dak hatin cowards who supposed to be Cowboys fans but root against Dak that I don't respect. These inbreds got angry when we won the damn game.

You can easily identify them too, because there is irritation in the way that they type. LOOOOOOOOOOL!!!
Some of those guys like @leeblair and @PAPPYDOG would rather see cowboys lose with Dak than us winn ok ng so they can troll and say I told you so. Their opinions are more important than cowboys success.

Detroit Lions defense gave up the following points this season heading into the Dallas game:

35 vs. Philly (Lost 38-35)
27 vs. Washington (Won 36-27)
28 vs. Minnesota (Lost 28-24)
48 vs. Seattle (Lost 48-45)
29 vs. NE (Lost 29-0)

The Lions defense is the reason the Lions are 1-5 as their offense had most of those games closer than they were so when you reference the Lions defense and games being close I have no idea what the hell you are talking about.
The fact is Detroit losing 24-6 to Dallas (although trailing 10-6 late in 4th) is more an indictment on the Dallas offense not performing (lowest points against Lions defense this season) and the Lions offense turning the ball over 5 times.
So now points are attributed to the QB as well as Wins.

Just trying to stay on top of where you are moving the goal post....
