Jaylon is an excuse a minute. He must have quite the excuse rolodex. At least he can't use underpaid as an excuse.
Does Smith make a lot of excuses?

A Youtuber who breaks down film of players. He's apart of the Cowboys YouTube community. I believe he's a former player, young guy and he's very opinionated. He focuses on the nfl draft prospects and Cowboys players.Who the hell is Voch?
The ability to cover sideline to sideline is his strength. Shedding blocks is the bigger problem. He's just not the tough, hard nosed, take on and fight through blocks kind of guy a team needs in the middle. His strength would be in working with more room on the outside. Unfortunately, that may also apply to LVE, so I'm not sure they have an ideal MLB type.
It’s no coincidence that as Antwaun Woods’ performance fell off last year, so did LVE and Smith.
I’m thinking having a legitimate NFL talent at the 1T will help these guys out.
IMO the bigger problem was the scheme issues that the Rams playoff game first exploited and that NFL DCs copied all last year.
The issue with Antwuan Woods wasn't his performance but his health. I'm too lazy to dig it out but at one point last year I listed the rushing yards allowed for the games he played in vrs the ones he missed and there was a really significant difference between the two. The bigger issues were Maliek Collins being inconsistent and Chris Covington underperforming as the backup 1T. It also didn't help that Tyrone Crawford was a nickel DT and got hurt, when they replaced him with Michael Bennett they got a better pass rusher but a weaker run defender at that spot.
Last year was snake bit and death by a thousand cuts, I don't put it on Woods other than his injuries. As a backup going forward I think he will be great in that spot.
He thinks Jaylon's play last year was affected by Smith's doubt that his teammates could do their jobs.

Antwaun Woods was responsible for this.
True, Sean Lee won quite a bit by understanding what offenses were trying to do and beat offensive players to their spots.I admit that I don't watch film but I thought Sean was good because he got to the ball carrier before the OL got to him.
I can't watch this guys videos, they're too long.
But assuming it based on Jaylon filling the wrong gap or late recognition...those issues have been there since day 1. He just doesn't play with any vision or anticipation.

Could it be bad karma for that celebration ?
