Seriously? Dirk's career can't even sniff Duncan's.

yeah, both great players like willie mays and bernie williams were great players, but one is a hell of a lot greater than the other.

I voted for Dirk. :D

I also voted for Emmitt against Troy. That one is at 50/50 right now.

Right now Dirk is better because he's younger and jumpshooters age well but Duncan's body of work is far more impressive. Dirk would probably need to win at least two more titles to make a discussion of it.

Ugh no it's not. I love Dirk, but he's nowhere near as great as Duncan was. Duncan in his prime was easily the greatest power forward of all time and arguably the best player in the post Jordan era along with Shaq and Kobe.

are you actually able to say this with a straight face? a push? That is like saying Montana/Young was a push....or since they were on the same team, how about Brady/Peyton.

Duncan is the greatest power forward of all time.....the only one even close is Malone, but he has no rings, so he gets no love. I would put Garnett ahead of Dirk. Garnett spent most of his career mired in garbage in Minnesota......at least Cuban currounded Dirk with a plethora of talent, and he still couldn't get it done until last year.

trick, i value your insight for the most part, but on this one, you are incorrect. duncan vs dirk has never been a push and never will be. But, even though I take Garnett over Dirk, mainly cause Garnett played both ends throughout his entire career......it is close enough that I would say their careers are a push.

Duncan is still one of the better defensive players in the league. Also, Duncan is playing like a spring chicken this year. He looks like the Duncan of 5-6 years ago.

Duncan is having a better season than Dirk is this year. Also, the Spurs are having a better season than the Mavs.....but, until the Mavs are eliminated, they are still the Champs.

Ur stuck in 2003. Timmy is no where near what he used to be. Dirk is getting better and better.

Its a "what have u done for me lately?" society. Dirk has provided a ring lately. So the youth have spoken.Obviously Landry and Staubach are the top but not to the youth. And I respect that. They dont remember Landry nor even Aikman anymore.

You respect that?

Dirk isn't even a ****ing American. It's an absolute disgrace to this country and to people like Staubach and Landry who built Dallas.

Yes I respect that. Youth dont know who Landry,Staubach, etc were for real. When I was 18 or so if this poll was up and it was Aikman or Bob Lilly i would have picked Aikman. I would be more familiar with him obviously. Dirk isnt an american. Dirk is ****ing not of this planet!!!!:laugh1:Earth doesnt create 7 footers with his skillset.

Yes son he is. I guess u missed the playoff run last year when he dominated like nobody has since Timmy in 2003. Or the fact that his skillset incorporates a shot thats unstoppable, and now a hook shot. The dude is unguardable.Stop swearing kid.Its not polite.

I voted in the first round but not since. Just voted in the semis...wow, Troy and Emmitt are in a DEAD HEAT at 50% each! Was surprised to see Dirk having a somewhat healthy lead over Roger though.
