Opinions are like _________, everyone has one. For a moron, he seems to be doing pretty well for himself.

And as we all know $$$ = intelligence.

You know we aren't firing Wade mid-season yet you continue to call for it over and over again, expecting a different result.

I gurantee you 2 or 3 more games like yesterday and he will be gone, and you'll just have to along with it, kicking and screaming all the while. "STOP BEING MEAN TO WADE!!!"

Wade Phillips has proven his ineptitude time and again, yet you continue to expect him to succeed

Especially on the football field. I mean, who wouldn't want Bill Gates or Warren Buffet making football personnel and coaching decisions?

Lookit. I would have preferred for Wade to be fired after Philly. Losing to a good team like Philly is one thing, but laying down and taking it is another.

The fact remains that you can't swing the pendulum back and forth on coaching style and expect to get any better. Many good teams in this league got guys young (e.g. Tomlin) and let them develop. It doesn't matter whether you are a disciplinarian or a "player's coach" - what matters is that you are a GOOD coach.

Nobody expects to get better this year. This season is LOST, whether it be at the hands of Wade's ineptitude or the shattered psyche of a team that lost their coaching staff. Might as well kick off the search early

Or posters making really bad comparisons.

It is bad enough, you don't need to reach that far.:laugh2:

After 4 games? Really? I'm glad you aren't the coach.

Just pointing out making money doesn't = successful football GM.

Oh yeah, Jerry played for Arkansas in the 60's so he's qualified or something.

Haha wow..I feel like I've been duped.

What a waste of time following this team. I'll still watch them on Sundays but I got to take a break from this place. It only gets me heated even more.

When your only argument left is nitpicking typos, you've hit rock bottom.

He's probably nitpicking the idea that some poster on a message board thinks that they can guarantee anything that Jerry will do regarding personnel changes.

The typo is just reinforcing the idea that the poster is being daft.

Maybe he's wrong, maybe he's right. I do believe that if this gets bad enough jj's hand will be forced into making a mid season change. 90,000 people booing can be quite loud and even jerry has a breaking point.

Not gonna happen in my opinion. Why? Because they have teams like Kansas City on their schedule.

You win this weekend and you are 3-2 - "still in it" and this could go on all year. Win one, lose one, win two, lose one. You end up 8-8, 9-7, even 10-6 and you are "right there".

Wade will finish this season. The Cowboys will still be playing meaningful games until the very end. How it all finishes up will determine what happens next.

I really believe that Jerry likes things the way they are, and it might take more than people imagine for him to change things up.

Jerry will never be forced into anything that he really doesn't want to do. Ninety thousand people booing is ninety thousand tickets sold, and if he doesn't want to find a new HC (and a new DC), then he won't.

Period.

I agree that it's likely they play well enough to save wade's job until the end of the season. Part of me thinks I'll take all the wins we can get, and the other part of me wants us to lose to KC so wade is fired midseason, as I think that is what is best for this team in the long run. I truly believe this guy is doing damage to this franchise every day he is allowed to expose himself to our players. I hate the fact that I'm almost forced to root for a loss but I believe it to be in our long term best interest. Jj needs to be forced to face what he has done, and what he has refused to do up to this point.

While it's the right of every fan to be fanatical, the meldown continues. You'd think we we're 0 for 20 instead of 2-2 having lost to two good teams in the last seconds.

There is no realization of another team being on the field. If we lose then it has to be because someone sucks big time rather than acknowledging the fact Denver has a for real team despite five new starters on defense and an unheralded QB. We gave up 17 points and that's the upper end of what you'd LIKE to give up on defense. Overall the defense played well enough to win. I do think the defense failed to step up and get a stop when it had to.

The offense failed and a lot had to do with Denver. You would like to score 25 points a game. We had no offense in the second half. I do understand the way we lost and the way we played has caused a lot of reaction. That's understandable.

I'm not at all surprised at many of the fans reaction but it's premature to right the season off at this point in time. Certainly there is cause for concern but to jump off a proverbial bridge is not necessary.

We should have no problems taking care of KC although I don't expect a cake walk.

I'll always remember a 11/16/70 game. I don't expect a rerun but you never know.
