AbeBeta;2993627 said:Lookit. I would have preferred for Wade to be fired after Philly. Losing to a good team like Philly is one thing, but laying down and taking it is another.
The fact remains that you can't swing the pendulum back and forth on coaching style and expect to get any better. Many good teams in this league got guys young (e.g. Tomlin) and let them develop. It doesn't matter whether you are a disciplinarian or a "player's coach" - what matters is that you are a GOOD coach.

The30YardSlant;2993672 said:This season is LOST, whether it be at the hands of Wade's ineptitude or the shattered psyche of a team that lost their coaching staff.
Smith22;2993680 said:After 4 games? Really? I'm glad you aren't the coach.
BrAinPaiNt;2993678 said:Or posters making really bad comparisons.
It is bad enough, you don't need to reach that far.:laugh2:
The30YardSlant;2993656 said:I gurantee you 2 or 3 more games like yesterday and he will be gone, and you'll just have to along with it, kicking and screaming all the while. "STOP BEING MEAN TO WADE!!!"
Wade Phillips has proven his ineptitude time and again, yet you continue to expect him to succeed

Faerluna;2993961 said:He's probably nitpicking the idea that some poster on a message board thinks that they can guarantee anything that Jerry will do regarding personnel changes.
The typo is just reinforcing the idea that the poster is being daft.
Air Force One;2993991 said:Maybe he's wrong, maybe he's right. I do believe that if this gets bad enough jj's hand will be forced into making a mid season change. 90,000 people booing can be quite loud and even jerry has a breaking point.

rcaldw;2994006 said:Not gonna happen in my opinion. Why? Because they have teams like Kansas City on their schedule.
You win this weekend and you are 3-2 - "still in it" and this could go on all year. Win one, lose one, win two, lose one. You end up 8-8, 9-7, even 10-6 and you are "right there".
Wade will finish this season. The Cowboys will still be playing meaningful games until the very end. How it all finishes up will determine what happens next.
I really believe that Jerry likes things the way they are, and it might take more than people imagine for him to change things up.
