Wade's Press Conf Monday; per thefan;

you have to build momentum heading into the playoffs by getting hot in december and carrying that into the playoffs, so december is very very important.

go back and look at your history teams that generaly have gotten hot in playoffs in december while getting the bye week have won the superbowl

Because that's exactly what Arizona did last year, and exactly what the Cowboys did the last time they won the Superbowl.

Oh, wait.....

Of course that "while getting the bye week" is important.

There are 4 games to go. Dallas could very well go into the playoffs on a 4 game winning streak.

I like Wade but I have to agree with this. During Bill's tenure, the whole team played tight, but it was the offense (when Romo got in) that had the best potential. The defense has always underachieved, under Switzer, Gailey, Campo, Parcells and to a lesser extent, Wade.

I would like to see the attack minded, discipline crazy, Gregg Williams as either the next DC, or even HC, for this team. He is unpredictable, flexible (coached 4-3 and 3-4 schemes) and most of all, tough. May be arrogant, but I like his unpredictable blitzes and blade to the jugular approach.

My biggest issue is - they just don't make any plays. They are relatively consistent, stop the run pretty well, and for a while there they weren't giving up any big passing performances.

Almost seems like our defense counts on our offense to win the game, and there job is just to not lose it. They don't force turnovers, they don't wreak havoc, and no one is ever scared of them as a unit outside of Ware and Ratliff.

It may be the players and not the scheme, but this is the 3rd year under this scheme and we don't have any glaring holes. Where are the results?

For the amount of **** Garrett gets on this board, at least our offense has won us some games during his tenure. Can't say the same for our defense. They've never singe handedly won us any games.

And he's lost this team, he still may have the defenses respect, but I'm certain that privately the offensive players don't respect his authoritah.

Why is there all this BS about the hold on that FG?

The hold was perfect.

It wasn't a terrible hold, but it wasn't perfect. McBriar leaned the ball to the left.

Mason Crosby just missed a short kick to the right, and, guess what, the ball was leaning right.

Folk's plant and follow through were good, so it might have been the wind that made the kick look that much worse.

Oh, I get it. This is about 25 days of no hitting in camp, tiny nosetackles, reporters correcting Wade's special teams, two days off following a bye, and WWJJD.

LOL :lmao2:

According to the guy holding it, no, it wasn't.

Anyone that knows anything about kicking understands the majority of the issues right now are the holder and the snapper. The snap seems to be a little hard to handle at times. Low and too hard. Maybe I will put on a kicking clinic for the board. The placement of the ball is critical. Now our kicker is adjusting to poor holds and the problem is escalating. Also the Meadowlands is one of the toughest places in the world to kick.

Na can't have confidence when you're defense and ST is collasping offense is sporadic at best. Running game non existent.

Wade always throws our record out there. when we went 9-7 well this teams was 13-3 last year. Blah blah blah wade's a loser.

Not even sure why you are Dallas Cowboys fan. Absolutely pathetic!

Wade is a players coach. That is a problem at times when it comes to rough spots in the road. I had a coach like that once...everyone liked him, but he couldn't bristle up when it came to making tough calls and the team suffered for it. I think what we are seeing with Wade is that he is a good coach and probably knows what to change, but is reluctant to change it (whether that's players, coaches, schemes, etc) for fear of making someone mad. Additionally, I agree that his apologist approach is very annoying and simply adds to his critics arsenal. It is true this team has a winning record. It is also true that they haven't REALLY won anything (remember what the goal of EVERY season is...forget that you are America's team as well!!). I don't mind Wade deflecting the questions, but wish he would just have the huevos to say he won't answer them instead of making up silly stuff and sounding like a bumbling ******. I still think we make the playoffs...not so sure about winning the division with essentially no running game that showed up vs. the Giants. I think everything else is adequate...but just that. Rediscover the running game and I'll chnage my tune, but not until then.
