Ware already has the strength, he just needs more freedom. I have yet to see Merriman bull over an LT , his sacks are more like free reign to run as fast as you can at the QB and hit him.

Merriman highlight video: Follow the link above and wait for download. He can use his speed as well as power. Merriman is a beast and he's only going to get better.

I am unsure of a lot of things on this Dallas squad Ware is NOT one of them..I think he will be a freak soon enough the transition will take in time.

I love Merriman too by the way..great pick SD.

never said he wasnt good, just that he gets to have a lot more fun than Ware does.
Oh I understand. Honestly I just don't think Mike Zimmer is as comfortable in the 3-4 scheme as he was in 4-3. You used to be much more aggressive. You'd play Cover Zero sometimes, like the home game you played against Philly back in 2003. I think ESPN pointed out that you went Cover Zero like 3 or 4 times that game, a pretty daring gamble.

But then again, it's his first year running it, next year he might be more comfortable and get creative. Wade Philips', as other have noted, has been running the 3-4 for many years and of course he knows the ins and outs of it, besides the fact that this is San Diego's 2nd year using it.

How can one get creative with a scheme when he's never run it before and is still learning? A person has to learn how to write before composing a screenplay.
