Was it defensive holding?

I think the ref though he grabbed him but Bradbury missed as he was pulling g away. 1st part was close...imo Can't make that call there.

But the Eagles lost so....great call!
There’s a photo showing a grab. And Bradberru admitted after the game he held him and was hoping it was quick enough the refs didn’t see it.

Let's be objective. Going by the rule book, correct call or let it go?
Impeding the receivers ability to advance beyond 5 yards from the line of scrimmage. It was holding, some fans would say it was ticky tack but had it not occurred the receiver could have possibly tracked the ball for a TD.

We have some schizophrenic individuals responding. It was ticky-tack; you don't call that at the end of the game; it WASN'T illegal; etc. Complain on wrong calls, whine about correct calls. What do you fans want?
It was a legit call. The DB admitted it. The NFL Network is saying it’s called weekly. It’s not tough.

I thought he grabbed him very early in the route and it affected his route. Didn't think the part the announcers focused on was the grab.

Didn't look like it to me. That's the sort of call a ref can make every play. Very strange time to call a ticky tack call like that.

watch the jersey tug... clear hold. It reminds of of basketball. If you are behind someone for a rebound, and you give them a little push at about the waste.... they go away and you get the rebound. It doest take much. Same with that jersey tug, it just takes a little to completely throw the wr off.... it was a hold.

It is was CeeDee Lamb getting his jersey pulled I would be looking for the flag. If it was Diggs pulling someone's jersey I would probably be complaining. But if the refs see a jersey pull they will throw a flag. It seems silly because defenders do much worse and get away with it a lot.

But it was 1 play. The Chiefs scored 35 points the rest of the game. If Eagles fans have a bone to pick it is with their defense.

The Cowboys hung 40 on that defense too so clearly there is a problem on that squad somewhere.

I would not have called it in that situation. It was borderline and ticky tack. The refs had seemed to only call pre snap blatant stuff so It was not a consistent call with the way they had been calling it.

I mean the guy said he literally meant to held and was hoping they wouldn't call it. You sort of deserve to lose at that point. I wasn't like it was Tyreke Hill it was Juju.....wasn't going to burn past him.

**** call to end a game. I prefer refs don’t have influence in the games, especially one of this magnitude.
How can it be a chit call if the player himself admits after the game he grabbed the jersey?

Bradberry said he grabbed the WR and hoped the ref would just let it go.

So the ref should just not call a penalty because its the SB, even if the player who is flagged says it was a legit call?

It’s the Super Bowl if it’s not obvious let them play! Why let a historic game end like that is beyond me.
Exactly!
That game very easily could have been an all time great game. Philly gets ball with 1:30. Ties the game with no time on the clock. Game goes into OT!

Best thing about Philly loss, they will not get the FA discount for winning the Superbowl. Also, don’t have to hear their coach or Philly fans gloat.

I prefer a let them play approach.. but that said, from what I've seen and understand over the years is that it was a fine class.. borderline, but reasonable
