TD was great, Faulk was great.

I like Sweetness (Walter Payton). Payton was like a 1000hp four wheel drive truck mudding. Almost nothing could stop him!

Barry Sanders is like a Lotus Elise slaloming randomly placed cones. He could cut and he could do it at full speed. Once he got going though, he strides became LONG and there was no catching him!

Payton & Sanders

Dang Julius...what could have been!

Are You Referring to Julius Jones? Great speed no Vision and no Improvisation skills, in a word he doesn't have IT.

Dorsett played 186 soaking wet at 5'10 ( and Ill give him 5 feet 10 more like 5'9 ) He coached me at Football camp and at 15 I was as tall as him.
He was just an amazing specimen. Poetry in motion. You young guys have to remember when Dorsett came out a 4.3 40 yard RB was a very rare site and put that together with his vision and other skills. Lethal combination

Never said he did.

Excellent assumption on your part though.

I was asking you a question. You dont have to be so defensive.

Well, in all fairness, when you ask a question, you typically end it with a quesiton mark. It does come across as if you were making a statement.

Chalk it up to miss understanding I suppose.

They don't make them any smoother than this guy. When I was young, I received this SI edition in the mail. I decided to send the SI cover to TD, (c/o of the Dallas Cowboys) and ask him to sign it. I included a return, self-addressed, stamped envelope. I never thought I would see that SI cover again. A few weeks later it came back in the mail, with a personalized autograph to me from Tony D. It's my favorite piece of Cowboy's memorabilia.

That's a pretty cool story Capt. Those are the kinds of things that make all the difference in the world, as a kid. Today, you don't see those kinds of things much anymore. Now, you'd have to go to a card signing and wait in line for hours, pay who knows what.

Too bad really.

I think the answer has to be no.

I was just watching a few clips of him on NFL Channel and honestly, he's just the smoothest, prettiest runner I've ever seen. He just glides.

Man, I feel pretty lucky to have been able to watch him play.

Tony D was just a great, great player.

maybe Gale Sayers (is that who's in your sig?)

The 99 yard run was awesome.

But what I remember most from that game is that we lost.

Danggitt!
