And how many of them were position coaches for ten years??
Andy Reid -- 7 years
Herm Edwards -- 9 years
Rod Marinelli -- 9 years
Sparano hadn't stayed with one team for more the 4 years, and Harbaugh doesn't even have his own Wikipedia page! (kidding about that part!)
At the time of their hire, especially Reid, they were roundly criticized for their lack of experience.

Uhhh, no, he hasn't... except in the media...
Agree to disagree here -- I've seen it reported a number of times. And fans here have dubbed him the next HC as well.

And they were 20th in 2006, 13th in 2005, 13th again in 2004... meaning over the last 4 years, their average passing offense rating has been 13th-14th...
Sounds pretty mediocre to me...
Of course it does. Everything the Commanders do is mediocre to you. I'd be wasting my time to convince you otherwise. But maybe, that had more to do with the OC then it did the QB coach. I think Matt Hasselbeck turned out to be a pretty good QB. And he's raved about the coach Jim Zorn is. So, while I am maintaining my "we'll see" stance, that at least gives me hope that he is a better choice then what was available.

Only in Danny Boy's fertile, fevered brain is Jim Zorn considered some kind of offensive guru... LOL...
No one had dubbed him an "offensive guru"

I'd be surprised if he wants to, but at the same time, I'm dead morally certain that the reason Snyder went with an outsider was in the hope that he could woo The
Chin next season...
We'll see what happens. I do think Snyder learned some modicum of patience from Gibbs.

Yup-- if he wins a Super Bowl for Jerry...
Wade is a place-holder. Most anyone that looks objectively at the Cowboys sees that.
