I watched every play he was in on, and let me say -- he's got something.

He's a very good runner. Busted a few big plays. Surpisingly quick. Rarely brought down on first contact. Nice spin move and juke in hole. He was used on quite a few 3rd and 2 or the like and got every one. He needs the play blocked. There were quite a few plays where he was met at the line or behind and can't really do much. But he always fell forward.

His pass blocking is WAY better than Randle. Seemed to always know which guy to pick up. He lays wood. Has a tendency to throw shoulders and lose technique, though. On a couple, just his presence led the blitzer to get scared and give up.

Fumbles could be an issue -- he put the ball on the gound twice. But I did see him switch hands a few times and at least one fumble was when he had it on the right side. So, i think that complaint is overblown.

He will be our short yardage back. If one of the other guys get injured, I could see him taking over and never looking back

Nah, Murray was nifty, slippery, found small creases. Michaels doesn't do that -- he's more grab and go. But He's WAY more explosive than Murray

Murray ran with power last year and had a hell of a stiff arm. Michael runs with a little more "violence" than Murray did though. Neither have amazing top end speed, but can both break off long runs occasionally. Michael does have much more explosiveness.

I think that is excellent point that he needs the play blocked because if you watch his highlight video in Seattle he is nighmare once he gets some momentum going. Thats why this might be a really smart signing because from what I hear this line can block.

There isn't much of a track record with this guy. He had 2 fumbles in 2014 preseason and 1 in the regular season. And then 1 more in this years preseason.

Thanks for the write up. I saw a lot of him coming out of school and prior to the draft. However, I haven't seen much of him while in Seattle so your insight was helpful.

I think the coaching staff is merely gonna ride the hot hand much like they planned on doing last season. Murray just happened to stay healthy and stay hot so they kept feeding him the ball. I like the talent acquisition by the team. Competition is very important and Dallas has that at many positions now. Gotta love that.

Randle's pass blocking abilities seem to get worse and worse by the day.

As far as I can determine, this video has no sound. So I feel safe that i am not bringing a video to the board with offensive language.

This must have been a Seahawks practice.

You determine what his worth is yourself.

Michaels is a bulldozer. That's how he is built and that is how he runs. He is what he is. If you're looking for that type of runner, he's a good one. Depends what you want out of the player, what your looking for and how he fits in your system. I wouldn't want to tackle the guy in the fourth quarter after he has been resting all game long.

Garrett during today's presser essentially indicated that they will address not only teaching him their system and playbook but that they would also address technique and any problematic issues.

Time will tell but the guy is explosive and has the size 220 plus.

Maybe they should use him like Marion Barber was originally. The closer. *redzone/short yardage & close out the game.

I don't really see that comparison. To me Murray was smart runner who found opening and would use his size. Michaels is more of violent runner. One cut into space and attacks defender for more yardage. His style would be more like lynch.

Exactly... he does look like Lynch, a lot. At a glance, u wouldn't know it was not Lynch back there with Wilson. And his running is similar but different to Lynch, not like Murray at all

good point. I can't remember exactly but is that how Marion Barber was first used...4th quarter hammer?
