Bottom Line
Scouts like Michael’s blend of low-center of gravity power and speed in exactly the same way that opposing defense don’t; but he must stay healthy to fulfill his promise after managing to play in just 13 games (with an impressive 1,530 yards and 12 touchdowns in that span) over the last two seasons due to a broken right leg in 2010 and a torn left ACL in 2011. A healthy senior year should translate into at least a top 50 draft slot, if not higher.

Pretty good speed for a big man and 27 reps on the bench press shows very good strength.

He's a very similar player to Murray, IMO.

Michael has very little juke to him, so I would disagree. However, he is a power runner, so that is similar. He's more like a mini-Lynch.

I think he's here because they don't trust Randle to handle the pressure without doing something stupid off the field, and they don't trust McFadden's health.

C. Mike appears to run with a lower center of gravity than Murray, who I felt ran a bit too high.
I'm excited to see what C. Mike can do with the size holes the Cowboys offense opens up. He may be our Marion Barber back, killing defenses and wearing them down when we're up by a comfortable margin or the running back we need when we absolute need two or three yards.

I honestly foresee him being our starter by the middle of the year. He'll still be rotated with Randle and McFadden (if he stays healthy), but I think he'll get a majority of the carries probably after the bye week.
