He fumbles more than Murray and I've heard he's not a good pass blocker. Seems to be more of a project than an immediate solution.

Agree. A conditional 7th round pick is essentially payment for moving to first place on the waiver claim list.

We basically just claimed someone else's cut off waivers. I wouldn't go parading this around like he's the answer to our non-existant running back problem, as it were just yet.

He might fumble a little more than DM, but DM sure has a knack for coughing it up in big moments. Yep, DeMo sure knew how to make the most of his fumbles.

I watched every play he was in on, and let me say -- he's got something.

He's a very good runner. Busted a few big plays. Surpisingly quick. Rarely brought down on first contact. Nice spin move and juke in hole. He was used on quite a few 3rd and 2 or the like and got every one. He needs the play blocked. There were quite a few plays where he was met at the line or behind and can't really do much. But he always fell forward.

His pass blocking is WAY better than Randle. Seemed to always know which guy to pick up. He lays wood. Has a tendency to throw shoulders and lose technique, though. On a couple, just his presence led the blitzer to get scared and give up.

Fumbles could be an issue -- he put the ball on the gound twice. But I did see him switch hands a few times and at least one fumble was when he had it on the right side. So, i think that complaint is overblown.

He will be our short yardage back. If one of the other guys get injured, I could see him taking over and never looking back
Just got around to watching his preseason play myself. He's extremely explosive. If he gets a hole, he's gone. Has pretty good balance -- not sure I've ever seen someone execute that spin move so flawlessly so many times. He can get low and drive his legs as well. Too small of a sample size to really understand if he has good vision, but he took what the line gave him it seemed.

Looks like a good 3rd back to have as part of the 3-headed RBBC monster.

Instant upgrade over Dunbar, but not sure he's so far ahead of Randle or McFadden that he should be declared the starter any time soon, so I imagine whoever has the hot hand will play.

I agree. He'll have to earn his reps.

Nah, Murray was nifty, slippery, found small creases. Michaels doesn't do that -- he's more grab and go. But He's WAY more explosive than Murray
I know it's just practice but watch at 3:23

The guy looks good but it scares me that the Seahawks would trade him to us.

If I were the Seahawks and I believed he had anything I would cut him and take my chances on some other team claiming him through waivers.

The Seahawks are cocky. They are trying to trade Kam too.

there are a lot of players who are stuck behind bonafide stars who went on to have a good career on other teams, the seahawks obviously think his fumbling problems cannot be fixed and were willing to give him up for a draft pick.

That's a money issue though.

Michael couldn't get on the field to them and he got traded for peanuts to a team that is in their conference and could be a threat to their Super Bowl chances.

Maybe he'll go for 250 when we play them! :)

Maybe they should use him like Marion Barber was originally. The closer. *redzone/short yardage & close out the game.

that's what I hope micheals can bring for us. we do not have a closer running back to wear teams down in the second half. mcfaddon has always been a first half running back then disappears in the second half atleast that's what I have seen from him in Oakland. I do not see randle as a grind out the clock running back.

He's a very similar player to Murray, IMO.

I think he is not nearly as upright and easy to target in the open field as Murray.

He sinks his hips when he goes into traffic to give himself better lower body power and that is an underrated skill.

I agree. He's a more violent runner as well.

I knew you were. Just funnin' ya a bit.

I was kind of wondering thought I was pretty clear it's hard to tell on this board when someone is kidding around.

You know people tend to remember Murray from last year. The read will come off this year
I also don't think Bradford makes the year. These guys all have history of injury..

This guys will seriously be our rb sometime during the year.Too good to not be..
