how do you know he isnt doing something like what you mentioned ?
do you honestly believe he gets up in front of the team and says "sorry guys I don't know why you messed up on that play but its OK with me" ?

just because you dont hear about it doesnt mean it doesnt happen.
those media boys are only there for a short time in practice and NEVER in meetings.
quit following the lead of the negative nancies Joe, enjoy the team. i know you love them so quit being mad at them all the time. lifes too short.

well, did or did not a player texted a writer after he asked what wade said after the loss to the giants on the bus ride to the plane. Did or did not the player say, SOS! (same old stuff)?

the way the player put it, yes, i do believe thats what wade said;

You have no idea if that is true, none whatsoever. Yet you keep bringing it up as it defines anything. It is completey unsubstantiated.

And if it was, well very team in history has had a guy or two like that on their squad.

Players should be accountable....

No one knows the right answers......I wonder what the SF coahces are doing now after their loss to the Seahawks....? Or the Ravens coaches? Did the constant player meetings help the Giants get out of their losing streak? Or did the players just finally make some plays?

Why did Jimmy Johnson keep his FG kicker all season long in 92 when he was struggling?
Did Bellicheat forget how to coach? Havent they lost 3 of the past 4?
Did Andy Reid make the players more accountable after they lost to the Raiders? Is Norv the same coach as he was in Wash? Or is he making his players more accountable in SD?

What has more success? Supposed passive coaches ? Or the rah rah types we hear in press conferences?

Lets see how this season plays out.......hopefully we can win the SB.

On Belicheck the cheater, reason why he isnt winning now should be very obvious. He cant cheat anymore, have all of those tapes, etc to cheat and win the game.

On Jimmy Johnson, evidently you forgot that he did cut a kicker after one sunday when the kicker told him he had lost his confidence. Jimmy cut the kicker the next day.

Strict dominant ones, there was a survey on this on this board,

You probably need to do some homework and studying to know what your talking about.

Read up on some of your cowboys history and then you will do fine.

again think about the bruce read issue, we have all seen how a good special teams coach has helped this team, yet we suffered thoughout last year with bruce read with 4 assistant coaches having to take some time away from their coaching to do bruce read's job.

if wade did that to bruce read, again, what makes you think he makes players accountable?
That sounds to me like he made Bruce Read accountable. Didn't Read get fired? Didn't Brian Stewart lose his responsibility of calling the defense and later get fired? I could have sworn those things happened...

Yea, that almost ranks right up there with Crayton getting a promotion after the KC game.

Joe...

I know the history just fine in the NFL and especially the Cowboys....

but because we think the Coaches here dont hold the players accountable doesnt mean it doesnt happen in team meetings or on the practice field.....

Its just your opinion.....

So a single player texted SOS........there is always one in the crowd....should we just get rid of all the players that support Wade and claim that he is a great coach? and does hold the players accountable?

And yes Jimmy did fire alot of players but in 92 .....our FG kicker then was 5-10 from 40-49....struggled all year but Jimmy still kept him around and then did replace him after the second game in 93.......and we did win the SB in 92.....so....are u saying should Wade get rid of Folk? Even tho he was very good the year before? Or should he wait like Jimmy Genius?

And the reason Bellicheat won those SB's and is a great HC and DC is because he cheated? Is that your reasoning? Really? :)

And so the Perfect head coach is a strick one? Cant be.....we had
the Dec swoon when Big Bill was here and we still had penalties issues.....could it be maybe the players have something to do with our struggles in Dec?

True BP has not won a playoff game since 1998 and is 0-4 in post season without Belicheck. :laugh2:

ok im watching 2005 steelers, they had just lost 3 games, played at critical time about 1:57 to 2:01 pm

cowher asked every player to grade themselves positive or negative on bengals game, held them accountable. For each player to look at themselves, then let cowher see their grade and talk about it etc.

when they came into the locker room, their was a board sign that said, and had only one game at a time on board,

and cowher made players accoutable for their play and to themselves

then jerry porter says i dont care, in this type of game, you should have no friends on the other team, i have to beat you down and tell you that i will, so i have no friends on the other team

should the cowboys players, coaches and wade have this type of thought, etc?

your thoughts

maybe DC or theebs can find the podcast and post it for us to see and think about, etc.

Can you try posting in complete sentences, instead of simple fragments about what you heard/saw?

It's hard to read with sentence fragments.
