Great signing. But this is a good point. His late signing probably cost us a guy like LB McGee or CB Moore because we had to keep Weems and Arkin.

If he can play.. this makes our OL better in so many ways, imo.

Not only do we get a Pro Bowl caliber OG, but we can move Free back to RT, where he had been playing well in the preseason again.

It also lets us make Parnell the swing tackle instead of Weems.. and i like Berny or Arkin alot more as backup interior lineman than i do starting.

Age wise and the fact he played last year and BC coaches him so he knows the scheme and he is 3 years younger. He did want to play but he didn't want to leave his young family. I don't blame the guy for choosing that route. But if you can't see my point it's pointless debating it with you.
