Manufactured drama for ratings. Franklin has a great salary in a great environment, with the #1 recruiting. WHY would he ever uproot his family, move across country to a lesser institution to rebuild an uncertain situation?

I figured. The USC job seems like it would be a great job, but people in the LA care 10X more about the Lakers. The LSU job is one of the 5 best college jobs. Problem is you will always be compared to Saban. Nobody is Saban. The amount of coaches fired because of Saban's success is crazy.

PSU is a great job. Good football talent in Pennsylvania, great fanbase, great night game atmosphere.
