We are slowly becoming a poor man's 49ers team!

Ya know.

I should have bet you when you offered your bet. You set the bar so low for Dak yesterday that even I thought he would reach it.

But low and behold he didn't even meet your incredibly low bar.

Me offering you the bet was the whole purpose of that post. I knew you wouldn't take it because you are a troll honey. I never expected you to accept. Trolls go on message boards and ruin threads then hide from real men who offer real opportunity for the troll to prove they aren't children. Like I said sweetie. Get help. I'm here if you need someone.

Had dak not thrown a horrible interception against the niners due to inaccuracy, wed have beaten the niners, even though they"dominated," us.

Our defense gave up 6 points yesterday.... not much more needs to be said.

to the Lions without their best running back

that “more” does need to be said

The 49ers are in a win now mode and are running their team in that manner. Jerry and Sons are running the org like a river boat cruise, no urgency.

But not even 2 TDS against the worst defense in the NFL!?!??! YIKES!

Your bar for him yesterday was just 2 measly TDs and he couldn't reach it.

1 TD pass in 7 and 1/2 quarters from what you believe to be a top 10 QB.

Yikes.

Team's in any era who are able to run the football, play strong defense have been successful. This is a winning formula that travels. The 49ers most recently have put together this type of team, where they were in the NFC Championship Games last yr and also had a SB appearance.

I see the Cowboys slowly resembling the current 49er team, although still not there yet inside the trenches. They are able to successfully run the football against most teams, have a great pass rush that can generate pressure without the need of a blitz. Must get better at stopping the run and they have the ingredients to make a deep playoff run. They will have their opportunities to do so as they face Taylor, Henry, Cook still on their schedule, along with a few others. Believe their pass protection must improve as well.
I agree somewhat. The 49ers front seven is their strength. Our strength more of our back seven. Our defense is actually better to play against Buffalo and KC while the 49ers are more suited for the Eagles and Packers. The schedule is set up perfectly to get us ready for the playoffs.

Poor man's version of SF?

Does anyone honestly believe this defense even with the run defense issues, would have given up 44 point to KC?
I know Mahommes is good, but I can't see it. KC got the bad Jimmy G yesterday, and CMC did not help any.
It possible but not into team or player comps at this point we will be who we are by seasons end.

Let us also not forget for the first half the offense put up 3 points. And had entire drives with negative yards of offense.

The offense just might be hitting on all cylinders by the end of the season. Would be nice and make the Cowboys very dangerous.
That would be nice. Our run game is so inconsistent. One good run followed by a loss or a gain of 1. That was an overall poor showing yesterday by the Offense. It was ugly!

We lose to probably 25 other teams yesterday.

Dak handpicked to come back for that one for a reason. He didn't want no part of a good team.

I don't hide my post history because I come here to root on the Cowboys and don't troll other Cowboy fans. If you can go through my 3k posts and find one post where I say Dak is a top 10 QB I will leave you alone for the week. If you can't find it. Promise me you will seek a loved one or friend today and try and talk to them about your issues. Nobody needs to wonder this cruel world with such a sad and lonely heart. Im here for you Hun if nobody else will lend a ear.

Yes, a lot of strong ground attacks left on our schedule, excellent challenge to improve this weakness.

Now that Dak is back you are back on the Cowboys suck train. Get help sweetie.

While i'm not a fan of the constant Dak hate the cause for concern is reasonable. This offense with Dak hasn't been very good the last three games they have played (Detroit, TB, and SF).

Lots of variables there that I hope can swing in the Cowboys favor, and I know Dak is capable of more than what he has given this offense really since about this time last year, but we need to see it. Its hard to not feel great after a 24-6 win, but for 5 turnovers to lead to just 24 points doesn't leave me feeling very optimistic. In a very weird way I felt better about the loss to Philly than the win yesterday.

Good news is the Cowboys are sitting at 5-2 with a favorable schedule. Odds of making the postseason are high, and a lot of the time it's about who gets hot at the right time. Dak is capable of getting hot, we've seen him put up big numbers in the past.

See, now you're going away from the football talk and going to the immature insults instead.

This is where we stop talking now.

I agree with the OP.

Dak tried to do his usual hero ball stuff in the first half, which led to predictably dismal results.

He played more within himself and leaned on Zeke and Pollard (was he told to do this?) and the offense kind of stabilized.

The Cowboys are attempting to follow the 9ers blueprint, for sure, but I still don't have faith that Dak can carry his portion of the load when the playoffs come.

The blocking simply must get better. No running back gets yardage at the point of attack without blocking up front. I think this offense matures and gets right and starts to be a strength once again in time. Blocking is key and playing together is paramount to success. Remember these starters did not play in preseason. Dak has played all of two games and Gallup as well.

I believe the offense right now today is worse now than it was at the end of last season.

We just don't have the same amount of talent.

If you stop our run game, and it will happen, we are toast.
I think the defense and kicking games are better this year
