We got dominated by them with the #1 offense last season.
ly
We'd get dominated by them with the offense we have right now easily.

P.S. Our defense still can't stop the run.

And this year is a new year. We are more physical and our defense are at another level. We are probable in the top 3 in the NFC with Dak being back.

I don't hide my post history because I come here to root on the Cowboys and don't troll other Cowboy fans. If you can go through my 3k posts and find one post where I say Dak is a top 10 QB I will leave you alone for the week. If you can't find it. Promise me you will seek a loved one or friend today and try and talk to them about your issues. Nobody needs to wonder this cruel world with such a sad and lonely heart. Im here for you Hun if nobody else will lend a ear.
I'm gonna laugh my *** off if he takes you up on your offer and actually genuinely wants to talk about personal issues with you privately via PMs. :lmao2:

Haha at first I was obviously joking with him about it, but anymore I sincerely would be happy if he did. The dude is so negative about something he has no control over. I get it. Cowboys haven't won in 27 years, instead of dwelling about it and having it ruin your life just...move on. Like if the Cowboys incompetence made me post negative **** on a message board all day I'd just quit watching and focus my attention on something that brings me joy. I have a feeling he is much worse here because it's his "persona" and he has a identity to keep with his fellow haters and trolls but it gets to the point where it becomes too much to fans who want to go into a good thread only to see the 1st response is him ******** all over the idea of the thread and the OP's opinion.

Balance is the key, successfully running the football will force teams out of that shell coverage that gave our offense troubles last season.

We have found the answer using Zeke and Pollard, especially with a different style of running.

I agree. They kept trotting Pollard out there on 3rd and short and it was driving me insane. I love Pollard on this team, but Zeke is so good on short distances between the tackles. Moore finally realized it on Zekes 2 TDs.

Team's in any era who are able to run the football, play strong defense have been successful. This is a winning formula that travels. The 49ers most recently have put together this type of team, where they were in the NFC Championship Games last yr and also had a SB appearance.

I see the Cowboys slowly resembling the current 49er team, although still not there yet inside the trenches. They are able to successfully run the football against most teams, have a great pass rush that can generate pressure without the need of a blitz. Must get better at stopping the run and they have the ingredients to make a deep playoff run. They will have their opportunities to do so as they face Taylor, Henry, Cook still on their schedule, along with a few others. Believe their pass protection must improve as well.

Kellen Moore is a dirt cheap version of Kyle Shanahan.

Yep......good thing is it's now making teams prepare for two different styles.

another thing in common, they both have very average QB's starting.

Outside of the game against Washington, our run game has been good this season. Teams will start stacking the box, which will open up our passing attack. Moore has to stop getting cute on short yardage. Those outside runs are far easier to defend. Good running teams are the ones where the other team knows what is coming, but they still cannot stop it.

Running the ball is a Shanahan strength trait, whether Denver, Wash, ATL, Niners – that’s what he do,.. of course the 2 biggest moments where he “should’ve ran the ball –(ala Super bowls)
- and he did not do so. - Results led to losses.

- It’s not just the Niners running the ball – but it’s a way, ..it’s a design, .. it’s how they scheme and involve their RBs into game in both vs the run.. and pass game.
They designed “ misdirection” in their runs and pass. They involved Deebo’s, their primary receiver acts as a RB in the backfield, and their trap-zone scheme
emphasizes- opens cutback lanes for the runner.

Kellen it's just run up the middle gut, whether out of shotgun, or deep hand off ...

- Kellen simply does not have a single clue in how to best involve and scheme his RBs, imo. Never used in RB screens, you rarely see misdirection plays (last was zeke coming from right to left out of backfield for big pass gain vs Washington
Another rare was the pitch sweep to Pollard for a TD vs Saints last year.

Lol the offense is never hitting on all cylinders with Putrid Prescott at the helm.
Only way this offense is “hitting all cylinders” come end of the season is if we somehow by gods good graces got Patrick Mahomes on the team.
Such poor outlook on your behalf. Are you waiting for Dak to go before you resume your fandom?

we are probably a really poor man's 49er type of team, like penny poor.....

we got long ways to go. if the run defense isn't fixed, we ain't going far in the playoffs.

Horrible example. Niners have a bus driver QB at best. Cowboys have one of the best in the NFL. Niners Oline is dominant, ours is sporadic.

By all means...

Get your hopes up sky high.

The offense we have right now is not going to be enough to win 4 playoff games.
You thought the team wouldn’t win 9 though. Last year you were off by a large margin as well.

Seems like you’re not much of an expert. Why were you so wrong then? What’s different to make you more credible?

I said the team wouldn't win anything last year and it didn't.

The 9 wins I predicted was with a healthy Dak.

Rush came in and changed things by leading us to wins in a couple games I predicted loses with Dak.

You said they’d win that many last season and this season. Seems like you just suck at predicting. Could be your insane level of bias it just being outright ignorant about everything related to football but no matter how you slice you’re always wrong in one direction

I’m curious why you think that validates you being so wrong so consistently? You made a prediction that was wrong, you made another prediction that was wrong, now you’re making more predictions. I think it’s much simpler to assume you will always make the same prediction and you’ll pretty much always be wrong. And we all know why don’t we?
