Oops, my bad -- I was talking about the latest acquisition, former Seahawks LB, Toomer, not LaVar Edwards. Color my face red.

At present, that has increased to a 7 man linebacker positional group...no foul, no harm...

Needing technique adjustments, now is a rotten time to come on board...but he also is a hustle guy, and that covers a lot of football related sins.

Like Walker asserted, he was miscast as a 4-3 DE. He should provide a good talent for Marinelli to coach up. I like that trade. LaVar Edwards has talent, size, strength and great quickness. He has real possibilities, imho.
