I never said he shouldn't or doesn't need to step up. again, said it 100 times over. he is not elite. as a result, you ain't getting a mahomes or Burrow. I have never said he doesn't have weaknesses, on the contrary. Just because I don't bash, doesn't mean I defend. that's the mistake by Dak bashers, who are very sensitive about that slight difference in approach. to most Dak bashers its black and white. if you are not bashing, you must be an apologist. you are teetering on that line yourself. you have already said it indirectly, but trying to stay away from that directly.
and I am with you. I call out weaknesses. not just for Dak, but for the team. where you tend to singularly focus on Dak and want a nice little box to place all the blame, I don't subscribe to that philosophy, as I think there are many other weaknesses. we know Dak is not elite and just like any other non-elite QB, they need to be surronded in the right system, right coaches and right players. doesn't mean we can't suceed, it must means we have to do it differently. if having Elite QB was the only way to win, then lets just cancel the season, have Cinci and KC play a game, draw two teams from a hat on NFC side and lets just have a playoff and be done with it.
and I tend to call out Bullshiet or wrong analysis and people tend to take that as defending. if you focus on the wrong problem, you will solve the wrong problem. and end up with similar results. there were many bad plays in that game. like I said, In that specific series, I didn't hop on the bash bandwagon regarding that first play, so you called me an apologist. and you did again. I explained and corrected or borught different perspective on the other two plays. you called me an apologist.
and I didn't spend paragraph's defending the 49ers game. that's you following a pre-planned line of argument. we only discussed 3 plays in a series. not the whole game.
and let me ask you. lets kick Dak to the curb. I am with you, if you have a reasonable realistic plan to make us better. if you don't have a better plan, then what we have is best we got and we have to figure out how to do with it. otherwise all you are doing is complaining, for the sake of complaining.
