He is one person and was not as good as either Quinn or Lawrence.Nick bosa?
It's always been the Garrett legacy.
The meaningless wins while losing the games that actually count. How many 'win and you're in' games did that clown gack up? Conversely, how many meaningless 'wins' has he given us? I know we had one against those same Commanders in 2015 during a 4-12 season that did nothing but knock us out of the #2 overall pick. Then we got another one in 2017 in week 17 against an Eagles team that rested its starters before going on to win the Super Bowl. Anyone else remember that awesome 6-0 'win'? Good times, good times. It gave a mediocre coach a 'winning season' and once again hurt this team's draft standing.
And this year? Choke up the division and hand it to the Eagles. but win the next week when it no longer matters.
The Jason Garrett Legacy. Enjoy it Garrett fans.

Playing our starters week 17 against the Eagles when they were playing their backups was the most ridiculous thing- Every Cowboy backup should have been given the opportunity to play in that game so they could showcase what they could do.
Of course he was. By a mile. This is obviously good evidence that stats don't tell the whole story.
There is not a single person alive who should realistically think that Demarcus Lawrence was better than Nick Bosa this year.
We don’t play in the weak AFC and specifically the AFCE and we seem to hover at around 8 and 8. We have to bite, scratch and claw our way there and don’t ever have the horses to get over the hump.
For where we are drafting McClay is doing a good job. But let’s look, for comparison’s sake at SF who is probably the best team in the NFC this year.
2019: Drafted 2nd overall - Nick Bosa
2018: Drafted 9th: Mike McGlinchy
2017: Drafted 3rd. Overall : Solomon Thomas
That defense is stout for a reason and the running game is good because of the blocking
On top of that they were GIFTED a groomed QB by The Hoodie for a mere second round pick.
It’s no wonder they are the best in the NFL this year.
We dropped about 5 draft spots because we beat the Skins. In doing so did we not only drop 5 spots, we also ensured the Skins the 2nd overall pick and you can bet that one is going to haunt us for the next 7 years or so.
The notion of us drafting well is sold by Stephen Jones himself, and is simply not true. We have not had a solid draft since 2016, which is an eternity in the NFL.
We have 4 offensive linemen that are better than McGlinchey, and Solomon Thomas isn't even a starter. I'll give you that Bosa is a freak of nature though. The most glaring deficiency I see is that they have Shanahan and we had Garrett.
Pittsburgh picked up the probable Defensive player of the year with pick #30 in 2017.
I don't buy the motion you need top picks to make a great team.
People also claim you need to tank for a QB, but the last great QB taken #1 overall was Luck, but his talent wasn't enough to propel the Colts anywhere. then he broke down and retired. 2016 the best QB out of that class was Prescott.
2018 QB class looks like ***.
Lynch has done a good job at trades and FA.
McClay is tied to only the draft to find talent. And it's next to impossible to nail the draft all the time. Especially when scouts want 1 player but coaches want another.
Funny how everyone playing this Championship weekend didn't say that this previous draft......yet we are?
Xactly. A decade of inept coaching has brought us here. Drafting Taco?????We'd do better if we had a GM who listened to the scouts instead of coaches who only offer bonehead advice. It's a killer far too often.
This is a Jones staple for many years.IDK.....there are plenty of teams drafting at or near the bottom every year and do pretty damn good ( Steelers, Ravens, ). We just need to stop getting cute and draft the best players. Stop trying to outsmart other teams coz it's making us look silly.
2016Now I’ve heard it all
Super Bowl teams routinely pick late with a few exceptions
And btw, we picked 4th overall as recently as 2014
Ok. Sf defense sucksHe is one person and was not as good as either Quinn or Lawrence.
