We have to take a QB high in the draft

I am not asking to support his claims. I am asking which he is referring too.

I already know if it is the mock drafts he is completely wrong.

While I already know he is "completely wrong".

However if he says big boards...I can't say the majority of them have him lower than five...but I have seen enough to know that they are out there with pretty much all of the QBs rated lower than five on big boards.

Even if they're ranked in the top 10, it hardly qualifies as any sort of a reach or a mistake. And the majority of reputable sources that I've seen have both Goff and Wentz ranked there.

What I expect to happen is what happens quite often. When a source is provided refuting their claims, they will then try to attack the credibility of that source, rather than admitting that they don't know what they're talking about.

Again, if we're willing to spend, we can fill every other need on this team. Except that one. At that position, even money can't buy you one.

You need to distingish if you are saying he is hardly a top 5 on big boards or if you are saying he is rarely a top 5 pick in the mock drafts.

Because I have seen him listed in MANY mocks as the first or second QB taken and many of those times it is in the top five.

Now...I have seen him lower in big boards.

That's why I am saying you need to distinguish which you are talking about.

I'm not talking about where he is going to get drafted. He probably will be a top 5 pick. What I'm saying is most sites don't have him rated as a top 5 player. Nor even top 10..

Which I already showed was incorrect with links.

You'll have to provide this "consensus" that you're trying to refer to, because everything everyone else is seeing says otherwise.

But, as with most of your factless, baseless comments, I'm not expecting anything to support this one either.

Just look at the different sites and their player rankings (not mock drafts) and you'll see that not only Goff but the rest of the QB'S are not in the top 9 of best players. Most of them have them ranked 9 or lower.

And that's why you're not seeing a shred of proof to support the empty claims.

Had he said some question whether one is worthy of the 4th pick he would have been fine. I've seen that. But he said none are worthy and everyone agrees. Well, that just isn't true. In fact, most disagree.

Again. Not true and anyone who wants to take the time to visit those sites will see that. You might find the oddball site that doesn't have a QB in the top 9 but almost all will and most will have at least one of them in the top 5 mix.

I have. And that's not at all accurate. And others have shown that it's not while all you've done is make empty claims.

It's time for you to provide support for what you're claiming to be true.

You must be thinking mock draft not overall ranking of players.

No. I'm thinking of overall ranking of players. I gave you three links to value boards that refute your nobody has them higher than 9 theory.

Actually everyone agrees. Show me a ranking that has a QB ranked higher than #9. If we do reach for a QB I hope it's Lynch. Wentz has problems following his progressions in a timely enough fashion.

Scouts Inc. have Wentz 8th and Goff 9th but with the same grade as their 5th ranked prospect. You have to understand how to read a board. http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft

Frank Coyle has Goff 5th and Lynch 6th. http://www.draftinsiders.com/

You can always choose to pick the outliers but the mean is what's important.

Show me ranking higher than 9....nevermind it's the mean that's important.

Of those listed...most have the QBs listed below what most mocks would have them as most mocks have one or two in the top 5 of the draft.
However even with the lower rankings only two have them below 9 and of those 2 one has them at 10.
