I do hate this thread but I do agree we need to restructure Dez. We haven't done it yet and chances are he's going to be on this team in two seasons.

It seems like we have to restructure him eventually, we are just waiting.

seriously, 2nd round pick worth more than 16m
yea, let's start doing what the browns do. what can go wrong?

you'd think below is a mass concert or something. no. it's all the former cleveland qb's having a quick get together.

Shefter is saying on ESPN that Cleveland is getting calls for Osweiler. They may be able to dump him in a trade somehow

it was a great move for the browns.
they had 100m in cap space that they will never use totally.
they just got a free 2nd round pick.

Missed out on what? We all know that the Cowboys don't make big time moves in Free Agency. Free Agency officially started an hour ago. We need to relax a little bit and let things play out a little bit

houston traded osweiller for a 2018 2nd and 2017 6th for a 2017 4th.
osweiller costs $16M in base salary and $3M in cap hit from signing bonus.
we could have easily cleared up $13M from restructuring dez and tcrawford.
should be able to scrap up another $6m in cap space from other contracts.
we would have a backup qb and a 2018 2nd round pick...
Please stop this nonsense. You built a tragically flawed model and are now drawing tragically flawed conclusions.

It was cute. But now it's strange.

Waldo I'm convinced...

Either A: You don't watch the sport.

Or B: You start dipping into the sauce early in the day.

i am not even going to argue with you on the model now.

this is an easy move that could have netted a 2nd round pick.

i cannot drink for medical reasons.
what do you disagree with?
you do not want a 2nd round pick?
you do not think the cap space can be easily opened?
