Last 9 years 2 SBs Jerry and company 0 NFC CCGs 2 -5 yes that’s so much better.
Well who made the argument Dallas was any better? I don’t want this front office either lol. I wouldn’t have given Dak or Hurts those contracts.

Howie Roseman makes football moves; the Eagles have made extensive changes to their line-ups and reloaded several times, have acquired quality FAs and drafted well while managing their salary cap. And thus have made appearances in both the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

Jerry Jones talks in cliches: how Dallas is “all in” and “hanging on the rim;” using “we like our guys” to pacify fans for their abject failure to acquire FAs who could help the team and use the salary cap as an excuse to do nothing while the teams with competent GMs add talent seemingly at-will.
Think the results speak for themselves…with Jerry running the show the Cowboys have done nothing notable over the past 30 years; all they do is talk..:nothing more; while teams in the NFC continue to eclipse the Cowboys it doesn’t matter so long as the revenues from games and merchandise keep rolling in. Jerry is not a GM of a football team; he is a CEO of a corporation.

The results speak for themselves.

Two pro bowl receivers. A pro bowl back and hurts. P!us Dallas goedard. Are model is to have one wr A rb two grey linemen and a pad rusher. They've never Had a bad line. How are they able to Get two receivers a rb a te and Barkley but we cant. Were always top heavy. We get a pass rusher and average d ts
We don’t have a “model” or “plan” or “football philosophy”. It’s management by crisis with no vision.

Philly fell apart just last year. Sure things could go well for them this year, but you never know. Detroit looks like they might get over the hump.
Yeah they fell apart but one is a complete and utter fool if one doesn't see that one franchise has been much better run the last 7-8 years than the other.

And yeah, Philly collapsed last year and got blown out in the playoffs. We also got blown out in the playoffs. Roseman realized they had real issues and went about rectifying them with new coordinators, an aggressive offseason, etc. Our guy sat on his *** and did literally nothing on his own.

These two franchises aren't even in the same stratosphere. The Eagles are what the Cowboys should be.

I could’ve swore they lost in the first round like we did last year….
And the one team decided they need to be aggressive in fixing the issues so they got aggressive in FA, they brought in new coaches, etc.

The other team sat on its thumb.

I love how you guys are so insecure about this stuff that you have to try to degrade what Philly has done. Philly is running laps around us and has for the last 7-8 years. They are always trying to get better, no matter the cost. Our guy is an idiot who thinks he's built something great that is only let down by bad luck.

The sad thing?

Jerry would likely be viewed a lot more positively by fans if he showed up today at a press conference, admitted his mistakes and said at this stage in my life and this franchise's current standing, I have decided to step back a bit and will search for a GM this offseason to chart the next course for the team.

But he's so consumed with people revering him as being a great GM that he's willing to hit an iceberg full steam ahead and sink the Titanic.

Philly dips their toes in the devils free agency. No sir, we will not bow to satan and pay outsiders their market value.
They literally just collect players.

Everything is a case by case basis as to if they are worth the money, and they would leave gaping holes on the roster before “overpaying” for a free agent.

The part that really irritates me….pick any player on Dallas that was given a second deal. They have no issue spending whatever to keep them, but if they were another teams player they wouldn’t even be considered.

They would claim CD Lamb isn’t affordable.

Why? Probably because the people making the decisions don’t actually do the work that they ought to. No idea about the rest of the league. Fully unqualified even if they did.

Extremely unaware and overrate their own players.

The Eagles are good. They might win their 2nd Super Bowl. It only took them 57 years.

Yup. I really wonder if they even employ pro-scouts any more.
They overrate their own, but underrated every other FA.

And it's not like they have a perfect re-signing rate either. Lately, it's had some big misses, taking up a lot of pie.

True.

I’d actually settle for him simply shutting his mouth, staying out of the way and not undermining the coaches.

Maybe consider hiring a HC based on merit over whether or not they may take some of the spotlight away from him.

Simply being the GM isn’t enough. He wants every single thing to be about him and his celebrity status.

Where did I defend Dallas or their front office? I verbatim said we suck lol.

There is nothing special about what Howie does. He spends money. Great. He doesn’t great job of structuring contracts. He seated all Georgia Bulldogs and most of them can’t play except Carter. Great.

If you want to argue he’s better than Jerry….ok lol. What a great accomplishment.

They have no plan, especially the last few years.

Nothing solidifies this more than the RB position over the last decade. They loved what Murray did but were clear that their analysis showed TBs weren't worth more than they were willing to offer Murray. Two years later after a bad season, suddenly they think plowing resources into the TB is smart. Got burned by that so they tag Pollard. They let Pollard walk because he wasn't good enough and they thought no resources in the TB position would be better with JAGs. That's been a failure.

So don't be surprised when they use their 1st round pick on a TB this year. Because they have no philosophy or plan. They just accumulate players and are typically over-reactionary to what just happened on the field the previous year.

LOL, the same lame tired arguments from the homer crowd.

The Eagles are running circles around us now all because one franchise has a real GM and the other has a stubborn, selfish boob. If you are OK with that because we won some SBs 30 years ago, have at it.
