Just like being Romo dependent... We are also Dez dependent.

I'm not asking for us to go make a Roy Williams type of splash but we need someone who is a better than average WR in case Dez goes down. A low end #1 WR.

Do you guys know of any options out there that someone might be willing to trade? Josh Gordon maybe :)

Hmmm... Alshon is on a 1 year deal.. The problem is that it's for 15 million haha..

I can't imagine the amount of money Alshon got for his performance last night.. Mind boggling.

How is Dallas currently Dez dependent? Beasley has been getting the majority and in the past game Williams 4 catches were more than Dez. No doubt Dez is the #1 WR but then every team has a #1 WR yet did not stop Dak from spreading the ball around to various targets

Beasley is good at what he does but it's not something we can hang our hats on.

Williams is a limited player.

Bryce Butler plays like he is 5'8.

Dez is a monster but he is always at risk.

We have seen this passing game with Dez out...and it was not good. Granted none of the QBs were as good as Dak. But the coaches and players will be challenged big time if Dez is not there to occupy lots of attention.

No more trades for draft picks. We're not winning the SB this year. It's a transition year.

Worry about all this in the offseason.

Nope.. I refuse to believe that. We're the only team that seems to be constantly transitioning.

If you don't want to trade for a WR I can understand that but don't tell me it's a transition year.

Is Philly saying it's a transition year right now? No way.

Was 2014 a transition year? Absolutely not and when Romo gets back we can be that type of team again and win this division.

I agree...but if Dez misses time. It would seriously stunt Daks growth. Quite often...Dallas uses the attention Dez commands to get other people open. We don't scheme them open.

Yes and Dez is a #1 WR yet Dak is not having to force the ball into Dez for this offense to move and they have been able to move the ball over the 1st 3 games. I'm all for getting more speed on the outside but that is not happening this season and as far as Josh Gordon I would hope Dallas is not that stupid to get another moron who is getting suspended on this team.

You just said it the QB last year sucked they could not hit the side of a barn. I know Dez is a great WR and important to the team just as Irvin was yet I did not see 2 or 3 other great WR on those teams I saw guys who went out and played within the system and it worked and currently this offense is not having problems moving the ball.

It's absolutely a transition year for Philly. I get your point though, but this has nothing to do with offense. It's defense. We are going to be hard pressed to lose anyone to injury for any extended amount of time and be able to compensate. We just don't have enough talent. We haven't even mentioned our lack of pass rush, which will allow any good QB time to kill us back there in the pocket for days.

I absolutely think we can win the division though.

My belief.. As long as you got a QB there is no such thing as a transition.

We got Romo and a Rookie playing well beyond his years. No need to lower expectations in the salary cap era of football..

I look around the league and what teams am I supposed to be scared of?

Transition? No way. No such thing if you have a QB.

Dez is a monster??????????? He showed some monster in his first two years. Now he is coasting and not so monster like. He barely gets into the flow. He cannot get separation going deep and he has not stayed on the field long enough to gain any kind of rhythm. Have you noticed how many 3rd downs he misses by taking himself out of the game. He is a big disappointment. He is no Calvin Johnson or Antonio Brown, heck he isn't even Larry Ftizgerald.

To be fair..the coaches and the defense and the running game of those teams was far superior to what we have today. I am assuming the OP is saying this in light of the fact Dez is getting a MRI today.

I get what you're saying. Seattle got Russ and turned into a mini dynasty type overnight with him at the helm. I just dont think its realistic we win the SB this year. Hell, anything past the divisional round of the playoffs is icing on the cake for me. With that, I don't like the idea of trading draft picks for a WR. We tried that last year with Butler and it killed us.

I agree but fact is Dallas is not leaning on Dez, meaning dependent on him. Cowboys are showing great balance in their attack

If we can find a guy with big time speed and can run block, I'd be all for it. Stretch out the defense, allow Dez to run more underneath routes while allowing Beasley his space.

with the cap I would rather spend any money on the D.
the wr's are serviceable and Williams as #2 is fine. It may not be like Cruz/ODB but NY is weaker at rb.
again without the cap u may have a point but with the cap we should address the other side
