Saying "it killed us" was a gross exaggeration, but it was far from effective. Give me the draft pick every time.

I have been a TWill sympathizer.

The fumble Sunday night has changed that opinion.

I look at the giants and their trio of WR's with envy. During the game Collinsworth suggested the WR's for Chicago were not real route runners. For the first time someone articulated what I had been thinking but not able myself to state. Dez cannot get separation, for the most part, by speed or crisp routes. I had hopes for Butler and his speed. Witten is clever, b ut nothing in the way of speedy. Beas is the underneath.

This team desperately needs a WR with speed to stretch the defense and hands beyond reproach.

I only expect one or two offensive draft picks and the rest being thrown at the D.

I agree and I am not sure why Butler is not stepping up. Too bad.

Same reason why Dez hasn't gotten as many targets as people thinks he should.

Our receivers have done just fine this year getting open. Butler's time will come if this Dez injury is serious.

I am not sure how much free agency money we are going to have to play with. I don't think it is going to be a lot.

i do feel we could use a legit #2 as twill doesn't seem to be consistent enough here. we've got a buttload of #3 WR's but our #2 seems glaringly in need of upgrade.
