Wilcox and Heath at safety...Both hard hitters and both are much improved..Heath's second interception would have probably won the game for us if not for the horrible penalty on Brown.

Heath is showing great ball hawking awareness..that's what we need back there.

Jones should of deflected the damn ball on that last pass by Rodgers..what was he thinking there?

He can't play corner which is why he was moved to safety and it appears he can't play that position either. He gets fooled all the time and doesn't have the instincts to play safety. He looks like a JAG. He's a better broadjumper than a football player.

Jones has been solid. He broke up a pass right before the Cook sideline catch (which Carr went too deep on in his zone). He's the least of my worries

Carr is talking retirement and Claiborne was horrid in that game.Put Jones back at corner.

It's that Cook guy who's been killling u all game....may want to go with HIM! Smh. Zone integrity my arse. He fell asleep cuz he didn't think AR would make that throw. He was wrong. Dead wrong.

Yeah he's not perfect but is it just a coincidence that Carr, Mo, Wilcox and Church play some of the best ball of their career while Brown plays like a first round pick in his first year back there playing center field?

Maybe it is a coincidence, I don't know. I am curious who, if anyone changes coverages in the secondary and how much more faith Martinelli has in his corners with him on the back end.

This 100%

Jones is a solid FS. People that say he is always out of position must not be watching. He is very assignment sound. One play does not a tendancey make. He isnt much of a playmaker right now, but that can develope

Jones and scheme have prevented big plays for and against. He's so far off the line that he can cover a lot of mistakes. But he is also too far back to be a consistent playmaker.

I agree. He covers grass far too much. He might be my least favorite cowboy. I've posted this far too much, but he never makes a play. Can't see the he play ahead of time. He's a reactor who waits for the player to catch the ball then he tackles. No ball skills. One INT in two year on a Hail Mary. Smdh. He's a smart dude, but not football smart. Put him at corner where he doesn't have to think as much or let him use his athleticism in the return game.

Heath and Wilcox are better in small doses and Wilcox isn't technically on this team right now either for next season.

Neither is Church.
I think Wilcox could be a good SS. He did well filling in for Church. Worth noting while he wasnt good in 2014, he did seem to have a knack for making plays. Heath could function well innthat dime safety Wilcox played this year

Need a playmaker on the back end and it definitely won't be him. If he is gonna play the Darren Woodson role in the secondary then we need to get a playmaker at SS. The Woodson/young Roy Williams combo was great in 2002 and 2003.

Jones messed up on that play to Cook. He should have blanketed him. One play then go to OT. Screwed the pooch is kind.

But he's a keeper. Heath is STs and should compete at SS (although both safeties play both positions.....sorta kinda). I agree we should get another safety but unless you go 1-2 you might as well draft one with athleticism later and coach him up....or try to that is.

We need two more DBs. This is an area where you can find a 1-3 year player at CB in FA. I'd get one in FA and then draft one high (1-3) as well as load up with another 5-7 and several in UDFA. CBs can be found later. DEs not so much. We also need another cover LB to compete.

He was a real arrogant scumbag in preseason interviews. I don't like the guy and I have no idea what he was doing on that last play. Neither does he. We did not draft him in the first round for him to play like this. How many turnovers does he have? 1? This upcoming season he can figure out what the **** he's doing or he can find another team to play for.

He's fine at safety. Asking anyone to cover receivers for that long against a red hot HoF QB is just asking for trouble.

As a FS, a decent metric to show well the defense plays with them is big plays allowed.

Dallas is tied for 3rd in least amount of big plays allowed, with the NYG. Behind only the Broncos and Patriots.

This was only his first year at FS full-time. He'll be okay. Get some guys up front that can pressure the best QB's in the league.

Heath should be starting at safety, he has a nose for the ball.
