We need to move Byron Jones back to corner

I for one never liked the pick to begin with.I couldn't care less how high you can jump or high far you can long jump... broad jump.

You have to be able to play ball on Sundays.

I was thinking earlier in the preseason that he would flourish at FS this year and get some interceptions...I was wrong.

A man should be measured by the fire in his gut...not measurables.

The reason my avatar is MD26 is because he was an undrafted free agent who impressed Tom Landry enough to earn the starting job at FS in his rookie year. Was not only a ball hawking safety who had 34 interceptions for us in his short lived career here from 81 -88.But he was one of the best tacklers i've ever seen.

His range ..His instincts were something to behold....Him and Everson were both the leaders of Thurman's Thieves.both undrafted.

Michael had 34 interceptions for us from 81 to 88 even with strike shortened years of 82 and 87.pretty damn impressive.

Jones is responsible for deep coverage regardless. He let Cook get behind him and worse he could have easily have covered him even if he had still caught the ball. He was five yards off Cook. On Third and forever to allow that and lose the game is inexcusable. Believe what you wish but Jones owns that play.

I'll trust what Dave Campo said being he's in the building and talks to the coaches....

I use Zyrtec, but let's do it.

benadryl slow your brain even if you dont feel sleepy
stick with zyrtec or allegra

oh and Jones needs to stay at FS but cover the dangerous TEs
this is actually different that most teams that have SS match up
i dont think he should be playing an extra CB position. its too different.

I am not trying to be a hater or an *******, but I have to question anyone who says Byron Jones was solid. I mean, what were you watching? He got torched all season. They tried to cover it up by saying he was all time single high but that's hog wash. Covering tghtends was supposed to be what made him special and he was atrocious at it this season. He doesn't do anything at a high level. He's not a jag, but he's not much better.

All comes down to money.
Mo is a starter... for 5-8 weeks.
You'd play Scandrick back inside at the slot... until Mo got hurt.

But if price is right you get plus play for 80% of the time you keep Mo on the field.
When he is right teams have no shot against him.

If he'll play for backup pay I'm down. I wouldn't pay him starter pay.

Manning Jones up against athletic TEs worked well last year, but they didn't do it much this year.
