Oct 25 - atlanta
nov 8 - at philly
nov 15 - at green bay
dec 6 - at new york
dec 13 - chargers

Not sure what Cowboys were hoping for w/the last 2 throws into the endzone. Did they really think Hurd vs Champ was the best matchup? Seriously??

Cowboys should have given the Broncs a different look on 4th. At least bootleg Romo to the wide side of the field and give him a chance to do what he does best, ad lib.

Romo isn't comfortable because he has no confidence that his receivers will be open.

...Witten was left in to block...another terrific decision.

It seems like 90% of folks in here have just two attitudes - ecstasy and despair. The sane 10% of us just want us to play quality football. Play good football, the wins take care of themselves.

This sounds really stupid when you say it out loud. It goes against all conventional thinking.

When your team is controlling the LOS with the running game it MUST improve the efficiency of your passing game.

Romo has had the best pass protection and run game support of his career. And that includes today. Don't care about the five sacks, 4 were coverage sacks. We protected him well today and ran the ball very well.

So what gives? How can this be? Make no mistake about it. We are two average Romo games away from being 4-0.

Maybe we do need to throw it more often and earlier. Maybe there is something to this silly notion of Romo needing more passes to get into a flow.

I don't know. I do know that something is very very wrong with our passing game. If nothing changes we are headed for 8-8.

Maybe it sounds stupid when you say it out loud, haha. Just kidding. I'm as irritated as everyone else on this board. You'd think play action passes would work, but they didn't today.

I understand we are all mad. We should have won. We didnt.

Now. Whats really happening?

Romo has to gel with his NEW team. This is the first time he is fielding this team as is. Did anyone really think that he wasnt going to miss a beat in this offensive transition?

Roy Williams needs some time. He was hurt on an errant throw. Romo and Roy need time. Dumping on Roy is silly.

I really believe if we can go no worse than 4-4 by mid season then we can make a legit run in the 2nd half of season.

Your ridiculous. Romo has how many "new" players? - ONE. You say Romo needs time to "gel" Bwhaaa, what a joke. They messed up the time management, Romo and the receivers can't get plays correct after a time out in the red zone resulting in a turnover. Tony has a penchant for making opponents stay in games when his accuracy is poor and it's been poor since game #2.

Romo played average to below average much like Kyle Orton. No speed on the starting WR corps. If Denver had a QB, Dallas would have been buried.

It's a average team with mental midgets. making them flirt with a losing season. I don't see the same team you do.

The play Roy was hurt on wasn't an errant throw. Bailey got away with a chuck about 15 yards down field that threw off Roy's route. Without the chuck, Roy gets to the ball in stride and runs away from the defense.

that is absolutely true. laufenberg talked at length about it.

how the officials missed a clear shove that almost knocked him down is beyond me.

Look, I hear ya. I dont like what I see right now. Its obvious that your posts are only going to be negative. Understandable.

I am just saying, they deserve atleast this season to get it together.

I hate being negative.

But thats what 13 consecutive years of organizational ineptitude does.

It wont change until JJ steps down

There will still be 50% of the people here who will complain that it was a bad throw. He had some poor throws, but that was not one of them.

Orton was average until his last 2 drives.

Id love to know what opposing QB's ratings are against us in the 4th quarter for the last season plus

quit making excuses for romo. u sound like that idiot general manager from Little Rock. romo is a fruit basket and it has nothing to do with "gelling". he can't play at a high level when crunch time comes around.

you sound like a typical freaked out idiot cowboy fan after a loss. this is the dude 3rd full season as the starter. Maybe everyone who was called a choke should just call it quits like Eli or Peyton maybe even steve young or Elway should have just stopped playing too....

on top of that crayton and austin stopped on routes today where romo had perfect throws if they continue. Both would have been big plays.

Ummm

You realize gelling has absolutely nothing to do with launching a ball 10 feet over the WR head and 20 feet in front of them on slants right?

You Romo lovers sound like you have battered wife syndrome. Deep down, you know he is not good for this team but you cling to hope that one day he will change and the good you see in him will come out. Only....he never does. He just keeps beating you down......:bang2:

Thanks. I stand corrected.

It still doesnt change the fact hat we need to let play out. Romo and this team needs time.

While not comparing Romo to QB's that were drafted #1. You do have to look at Eli and Peyton. They suffered major losses on the way to eventually winning SB.

Oh, I guess I should be happy after a loss like some of you seem to be.

No problems with this team or QB, no problems at all..

We'll take down the 0-4 Chiefs next week and be right where we need to be, all is well.

No you see, I'm not ****ing happy with the loss moron but you joined here this year and of your 300 some odd posts they are all negative, whiny bull**** and yet you keep with this "we" **** and criticize the team, players and everything in between for failing to perform while as a "fan" all you can offer is your constant crying that you spam in every thread.

The REAL problems are these:

Number one, our playmaker on offense is hurt, again. Felix Jones is the only guy that makes big plays on this team and he was out.

Number two, Barber is hurt, again, and wasn't there to finish the game.

Third, our average receivers cannot beat single coverage and are never open downfield.

Fourth, Romo can't play ball control on offense. He's like a shooter in basketball. If he doesn't get a lot of shots, he gets out of sinc.

Fifth, our offensive coordinator is a disaster.

Sixth, our team, as all teams do, reflects our head coach. We're a soft team. There are a few tough, competitive guys, but without a tough leader who can hold guys accountable, this team is lost.

Not an overreaction at all. These are the facts.
