I understand we are all mad. We should have won. We didnt.

Now. Whats really happening?

Romo has to gel with his NEW team. This is the first time he is fielding this team as is. Did anyone really think that he wasnt going to miss a beat in this offensive transition?

Roy Williams needs some time. He was hurt on an errant throw. Romo and Roy need time. Dumping on Roy is silly.

I really believe if we can go no worse than 4-4 by mid season then we can make a legit run in the 2nd half of season.

What part of that performance gives you any justification in saying we should have won that game. We were outplayed, this wasn't the Gints game, this was a solid beating from a team we had no business losing to.

Yeah, how quaint to blame Romo.

Dumping on Romo is not only silly but stupid. Tell, me, who will be here longer: Wade or Romo?

Face it, it was a team failure.

The sooner you and the rest of the Wade apologists get onboard the reality train the sooner we we will know that this team's lethargy is owed to the fatboy, the shrug guy, the guy with the excuses -- and that is doughboy Wade Phillips.

Get a real coach and our problems are mostly over.

I am a Romo supporter but he stunk it up out there yesterday, missing receivers, high balls, taking too much time. Definitely did not play well yesterday, I don't think dumping on Romo in this instance is silly or stupid, but justified based on his performance out there. He nearly gets RW killed with that high floater.

While I agree with what you're saying, and I do believe we should take a step back and not let our emotions get us all crazy, I can't agree with the 4-4 thing.

If we're 4-4 we're not getting anywhere near the playoffs. Sorry but I just don't see that. This team hasn't shown anything in recent years, or this year thus far, that makes me believe we'll avoid another December colapse like every other year for a long time now. 4-4 at mid year and we'll be lucky to finish 8-8 on the season.

So if we win next week, and I start a thread along the lines of "You all need to stop being so happy," how would that go down? I think we all know the answer.

I will NOT dispute that Romo had a bad day.
And so did the team.

But there are linemen who block for Romo.
There are receivers who run routes.
There is an offensive braintrust who calls plays (two errant passes last week in the endzone instead of running it in; two last-minute desperation passes to Hurd, our fifth receiver covered by Champ Bailey)

It's an axiom that a QB gets all the glory when the team wins and he gets all the grief when the team loses. In this case it appears to be the latter. And that's too bad because they should all be team wins or team losses.

If Hurd catches on of those last-second passes we wouldn't be having this Romo discussion.

While I do undestand what you are saying we will agree to disagree.

I think this team needs to hang in at 4-4 and then make that 6-2 in 2nd half. Make them always be on their feet knowing, feeling that every game is do or die.

They dont play that way. They need too. I want them playing every week thinking that the season could be over.
