i do not fault Jerra's proactivity this offseason.
I was referring largely to the sum off the whole: a sub-average group off journeymens, inesperienced or overrated players.
As to what I was especting, I was especting a defense that could win one measly game in the absinthe off Romo. I am still waiting, but I guess this defense cant because it is sub-average.

And last is Mincey who has a career total of 26 sacks in his 8 year career, with the most he ever had in a season is 8.
They went against a horrible Seattle line and managed 0 sacks.

You're ignorant. This defense is better than most in the NFL. They're playing a lot of minutes because of ineffective QB play and are getting tired in the 4th qtr. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

You did see what happened on the last drive right? Focusing more on getting a sack and lost containment on a couple of crucial 1st down runs by Wilson? They were more focused on containing Wilson than getting sacks most of that game and for the most part it worked.

Yes...just watch D Lawrence put one foot the wrong way and Wilson was able to get outside. You don't blindly rush Wilson...he will make you pay each and every time...he is deceptively quick.

It pains me to agree with this but I have to...for the moment. One thing I do want to see is does this defense get better once few turnovers go their way. Just way too much talent to not be dynamic.

Exactly. They came into the game with the same game plan as last season. Stop Lynch and maintain lane integrity 1st and foremost on Wilson. Make him beat you from the pocket. They executed it exceptionally well, it just wasn't enough for the anemic offense.

It's ignorant because you are relying on one stat and one stat only. The Cowboys had the 8th rated team in total defense prior to this weekend. I'd venture to guess they moved up a few notches after this weekend.
