Patience really is a virtue and a lesson that many individuals on this particular board could learn well.

Seriously. I question whether some even had the patience to read the whole thread before flying off on the predictable 'how could you compare Henson to Staubach?'.

I don't think it really flew over many's heads as much as many don't want to accept the validity of the experience/patience comparison.

Since most (I would venture) were not Cowboys fans when Staubach came into the league, they did not have their patience tested while waiting for a quarterback coming off a layoff to develop.

I will not venture to say our patience will be rewarded with Henson, only that we do not know either way. The early years of Staubach's (and most young quarterback's) career should teach us that much.
