Here in Oklahoma, we're still battling floodwaters, and cleaning up after wind and tornado damage. It's a serious situation. Hwys and bridges are under water and closed. Many people have lost homes. Little creeks look like lakes. Rivers are swollen and washing away neighborhoods. Keystone lake is close to the top of the dam despite allowing maximum flow. Sad thing is, we ain't gonna be out of trouble anytime soon. More heavy storms and rainfall predicted tomorrow and Wednesday.

When I lived in Texas (Arlington) we would get hit with semi-regular flooding every year or two. Was so glad we lived at the top of one of actual elevation so we were never impacted. I remember driving through neighborhoods and seeing the high water marks on houses...awful.

I guess somewhat surprisingly I never experienced a tornado in my 5-6 years there.
