The Cowboys defense is poor against the pass and the run which will make a duel threat like Kaepernick a nightmare to defend. Kaepernick will keep the Cowboys defense on their heels all day long with his ability to extend plays giving him the option to throw or take off plus SF has one of the top backs in the league in Frank Gore.

The 49ers will have their way with the Cowboys defense putting all the pressure on Romo and the Cowboys offense to try and outscore them. The Cowboys have a talented offense it's talented every year but it can never overcome the poor play of their defense. I see SF winning in a blowout opening day somewhere in the vicinity of 42-17.

This might be one of the most important games of the year. If we lose this game, we go limping into Tennessee for their home opener with new coach Wisenhunt. Tennessee has talent and played very well at home last season despite not making the playoffs. We could be looking at 0-2 before the season even gets going.

However, a win against SF could set us up for a nice run to start the season.

Garrett has had plenty of talent to work with, we should not have been an 8-8 team three years in a row.

yes, we should have. you can say he had talent, but is it really talent when they play stupid, or just collect their paycheck and then fat cat it on the field, or just have no heart. No you are wrong, Garrett did an excellent job to get this team to 8-8 these past 3 seasons, while he continues to build this team into a winner. Garrett had to weed out all those parcells and phillips players that were weak, dumb stupid, some had talent but that talent never showed when it was needed
