Thank God for that holding call on D Johnson. A no-call there and we're screwed.

Vids are awesome! Thanks!

...site. I clicked on the link, but it seems to take me to a commercial URL site.

Two things:
Rivera got blown up on the Campbell TD. Don't think he is fully healthy. Seen that too much this season.

LAstly, those KC OLmen are pretty fast for their size. They actually were down there at the same speed as LJ.

...missed tackle on Gonzalez was unfortunate. If he would have stopped him it would have been 3rd and 6.

Also, Glenn made a great move on his 2nd TD to get in. On the replay it didn't look promising - especially on Allen's missed assignment.

would you be able to repost the Kennison TD. There's lots of board debate over what happened on that play and it would be nice to view it once again. Thanks.

Davis' first mistake is biting on the play fake and coming forward. He starts the play at the same depth as Roy, with both of them at the 34 --

But by the time Green fakes the handoff and finishes his drop, Davis is up the the 37, and Roy is back at the 33 --

As the receivers run out and Green surveys the field (in the picture below), notice the position of the linebackers and secondary. Both outside linebackers are covering the hook zones, as they should. The middle linebacker is dropping to the deep middle, under the tight end, as he should. Both cornerbacks have the exact same depth, playing the flat. Roy is positioned in the middle of his deep half, facing the quarterback and able to see any receiver that comes into his zone. But Davis, because he got sucked in, has to turn and run backward, and he follows Gonzalez to the post. He should be in the same position as Roy, at the 30 and able to see both Gonzalez and Kennison.

As Green begins his throw (in the photo below), you can see James under Gonzalez and Roy beginning to slide toward the middle. David should be at the 27 or 28 and ready to react to the ball being thrown.

But as the ball is in the air (below), Davis is completely turned around and out of position, instead of being able to move over and make a play on the ball or tackle Kennison

And you can see that at the moment the ball was caught (below), Davis was still WAY out of position, and Roy was right next to Gonzalez.

Had Davis played his zone correctly, he at least would have been able to tackle Kennison around the 20. And if the ball had gone to Gonzalez instead, if Davis couldn't have gotten there in time, Roy certainly would have, and James would have forced Green to make a perfect throw over him.
