I think people see Tom Brady being elite at 39 and take it for granted that Tony can do that too. But Brady has only had 1 major injury in his entire career, and that was 8 years ago. Romo has had 3 major injuries in his last 5 games played, and most starting QBs are 100% done by 36.

I like Romo but anyone comparing him to Brady needs to take off the blue star goggles.

Up until this weekend I've been for putting Romo back in when he's 100%, but after the GB game I have to change my vote. I love me some Romo, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If Dak suddenly forgets how to football, and has multiple games where he looks bad, then maybe Romo goes in.

Yep, you don't change drivers when you're leading the race. You keep doing what got you there until it doesn't work anymore.

It would be a dream scenario if Romo was willing to restructure his contract and remain on the team as Dak's backup.

Won't happen time is running out on him and he wants to play and win a SB. Unlikely he'll be a Cowboy next season.

Yeah, he's just an Adonis

No chest. Muffintop hips. No muscular definition. Brady is just an average dude, no workout god. Dude gets suspended and goes on vacation in Italy while his team is working out and playing games. Funny the hypocrisy.

Now that another week has gone by, it is time for the next weekly quarterback poll.

Previous Polls:

I thought it would be fun to post this poll every week after each of our games and see how the fan base here trends from week to week on who should start once Romo is healthy.

This poll is not about tracking who is right or wrong later. It's about tracking the trend of which quarterback is preferred as games are played. Our votes have no weight on what happens, so this is just a fun poll to gauge where fans are at the moment with regards to who starts when Romo is healthy. It will be perfectly fine to change your mind in future versions of this poll as well.

NOTE: This poll is NOT asking do you think Romo will start, but rather .. Do you WANT Romo or Dak to start? ..

.... you have 24 hours to vote!
Why not just stick with the future?
Don't know why, other than Romo's ego, we'd want to go back to football futility.

So in you mind Romo lost the game for us in 2014? The game where he threw 4 incomplete passes and if not for a Dez Bryant drop would have had us one game from the Super Bowl?

Right-o, that might be the one ....
Say, matey, I am just an agile bloke who wants to CONTINUE TO SEE a remarkable transfer of team leadership.
Romo in Seattle or on the frozen tundra of Green Bay suggest I look to the future.

Yes, egos are deflated every day. At least Romo has millions...

Celebrate Dak or the ho-hum seasons of Romo.
It is just that simple, good blokes!

And lisson, bubby... 2014 is sooooo over ....

How do we know that this isn't a ho him season of Dak? Another case where he made people believe his team was the best in the nation before big losses made it obvious they weren't? Isn't that sort of Dak's trademark? I obviously hope that's not true but it seems just as likely as everything being Romos fault

I don't understand the risk of keeping Dak Prescott as the starter? Romo is a brittle injury prone 36 year old QB on the last leg of his career.

I swear, some of you want him to go back in and get injured...or you're just completely ignorant to the facts of life and how things work.

It's the only reason I voted Prescott. I dont believe Romo can stay on the field.

This is it exactly.

Romo is a great QB when healthy ....... but that is never gonna happen again ...... to much back, neck and shoulder area trauma for him to ever be healthy again.

If Jerry cares about Romo the person, more than Romo the QB, he'll make sure he doesn't see the field again. He's guaranteed to get another major injury.

If he was a few years younger and could still take a sack without getting injured, obviously he has to start over Prescott. But this isn't the case, so I'm confused why this is even an argument.

NOTE: You do not get less injury prone with age.

Yeah, and all that is really killing his career. Unlike Romo, who is the picture of health. If only he was big and jacked like Tebow, he might be able to play QB well.

It's well documented that Brady has an insanely strict diet plan, and his workouts are heavily geared towards injury prevention and flexibility to prolong his career. He's an absolute lunatic about keeping his body in working order, but getting big and jacked would do him no good as a QB at all.

I think bring in Romo during Browns game and that will be a good evlauation, in NFL we cant overlook anyone but i think with our receiving corps , Rb and OL we should be able to put up a score which our defense can hold against browns.

Since Romo can definitely throw the ball better and if he can succesfully follow the running script , we should be a better team, if we need to put points in a hurry ( at least from exprience point , but Daks 33 sec Td is really making me question this )

You guys really think MSU would have even been in the conversation for #1 if it weren't for Dak? He's the sole reason they were voted....his ability to produce wins---Folks thats MISSISSIPPI STATE for cryin out loud
So the team around the QB matters? Who woulda thunk it. Maybe Romo's losses aren't all on Romo then?
