But is that their only complaint? No.

I've been a part of that group because Dallas should be running more.

You can't be one-dimensional because you have nothing when that dimension isn't getting it done.

Guaranteed with the way Romo played for 3 quarters that Dallas loses if Garrett goes pass heavy like last week. Guaranteed. It takes both aspects.

Part of the pass, pass, pass argument (if indeed that facetious contingent exists) is that our QB also needs to get in a rhythm and that running the ball so much early on without creating passing plays for your offense so your WR and QB get in sync leads to a lot of erratic QB play.

Mind you, Troy is off this opinion also. Romo was 6/7 in the last drive, I believe. He never got sharp until we started throwing the ball more later in the game.

I watched the Cinci game today and we may have to run the ball more against Oakland than we did this game because they play that tight coverage that can get you in trouble sometimes. I'm all for that also.

All I know is that in 07 when the offense was it's most explosive, Garrett said that his number one focus of every game was to get Romo in a rhythm. I wonder where that thought process went.

Your running game can be the ebst in the league, but if you cant pass (Like we couldnt for 95% of the game today) it doesnt matter, because eventually the defense is going to put 8-9 in the box and you simply cannot pick up 10 yards on 3 runs against 9 man fronts in the NFL comsistently

BEST POST OF THE THREAD!!!!

If the defense is stacking 8 and 9 guys in the box then you have to be able to throw the ball, it is just that simple. If there are only 6 or 7 guys in the box and the rest are in coverage, you have to be able to run the ball.

What everybody is missing is that your pass/run ratio is based off what the defense is doing. You dont just say, "I am going to run the ball every f'ing down regardless of how many are in the box" and vice versa with the pass.

Garrett has got to learn to adjust his game plan DURING THE GAME based on how the defense is playing your offense.

hardly, we won because Romo finally started connecting on passes, not because we ran so much early in the game

Anyway, the run run run group yapped we didn't run enough when we won games this year so what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander

Let me ask you a question which part of our offense struggled yesterday the running game or our QB?

We could have won this game comfortable if our passing game had contributed something anything for the first 3 1/2 QTRs

it wasn't pretty last night but we won, do you think we're even in that game the way Romo was playing last night if we go pass happy?

The problem is balance... The offense has been pretty predicable the last two weeks. Mix it up a little bit.. Garrett was doing run run then pass at the beggining of the game.. He should mix it up.
