Well Folks, It Is December

I personally look at their upcoming schedule, who retired, who they lost in Free Agency, who they gained, who they drafted and if they fit their needs, how much cap room they have left, are they getting any key players back from injury, whether any of their recent draft picks came on at previous year's end, whether or not they have a new Head Coach and if he has previous experience of turning a franchise around, whether any of these things might affect their division rivals and give them a hidden advantage not all could see, and a lot of things unrelated to the previous year's won loss record.

You look at a previous year and 11 games of the current year and say, "I sense a trend."

You go buddy.

:laugh2: Now you're making too much sense. That's why I see the potential in Wade Phillips. The gamblers fallacy doesn't work for me. If we're a team with 50/%50 odds on game day--when the games are played--then we ought to have as equal of a shot as any other competing team. And this year we are competing with leaders as you mentioned in your article. This team has changed and I'm sensing something in it, but we just have to stay in it from an odds perspective and have as much of a chance to win as the other team.

Something could happen to push us over the top. If only Roy Williams could ever turn it on, and I think he just needs to put in the work ethic to get better (and I think he could), then this team can do special things. This team needs to just keep working on this year.

I take great Joy in the fact that I was wrong about Miles Austin.

My crow tasted good too. I'm on the record as well, but the same holds true for many.

I see the team improving, but one thing scares me, I dont want jerry jones to give wade a contract extension till after the year. I dont want wade to get that contract and then say to himself. Well, Ive got my 2 to 3 year contract again, everything is roses again, so i have 3 years to get that playoff game again. No Worry, everything is ok.

I want wade to have to prove and deserves a contract extension and prove that he can win a playoff game or 2, etc.

No More Excuses for wade, either he proves it or he shuts up.

There is no way in sam hill that he is in the caliber of a jimmy johnson or a tom Landy! No Way! Not yet at least, and he has to prove it, and quit his whining for not getting no respect.

I do feel that the players are starting to get the leadership with the chemistry now, and eventually the good assistant coaches and team leaders can lead the team like the cowboys did in 95. They had a puppet for a coach as you all know in switzer, and they won a superbowl.

I agree. I'd be willing to give him consideration after the season.

Good call Hos.

Next time you want to talk out of your *** about something you know nothing about, how about sticking a sock in it? OK?

:laugh2: It seem there's almost a complete absence of the happy, happy, joy, joy crowd today.

What good call? This thread jinxed them?

It interests me that after we beat Philly you didn't post for days until a thread praising Jerry showed up.

Minutes after a loss here you are talking tough.

I'm sick... the truth is that this game is played by full groun men, and the NY Giants are just that FULL GROWN MEN... unfortunatly for us, our Dallas Cowboys are not... We got killed on big playes that came from football player that refused to go down, the will and desire to win that the Giants showed toda was awesome, the giants will to win was at a level that we will never see from this cowboys team... So I don't know what you guys think, but in my opinin, the better team did not win today, the team that won was the one that had the thouger mentality and the players and staff with the the biggest sets of "you know what"...

We will never see a team with that amount of temperament and desire to win from a team coached my Wade Phillips.

Spot on.

we're gonna be lucky to even make the playoffs. this team is so disapointing cause they tease you and make you think they're a contender when they're not.

Nice post...I watched Choice sit on the sidelines the entire game while Barber run slowly into piles, fumbled away balls and continously went down on first contact....sickening.
