Got it.

So one play proves he has excellent pocket mobility.

Again, if you guys want to think Foles is also a mobile QB, have at it.

Maybe by the end of this, you'll convince yourselves he also cured cancer.

You either have pocket mobility or you don't. That play proved that he does. There were several other plays in the Superbowl and NFC championship game where he displayed excellent pocket mobility as well. Foles had a 133.1 passer rating vs the blitz in the Superbowl, and one of the main reasons is his pocket mobility and accuracy on the move.

Quarterback rating? You're going to ignore the fact that Brady threw for over 100 yards more than Foles and had a higher passer rating, and cling to that phony ESPN-only QBR stat? QBR is a joke.

Again, Foles played very well, but only the most desperate Eagles fan would use QBR to say Foles outplayed Brady.

Your boy Skip Bayless touts QBR as the ultimate QB stat. He has chirped about Prescott's QBR for 2 seasons now.

QBR takes into account scrambling, fumbles, rushing, and the whole nine yards. Nick Foles had an 89 QBR to Brady's 84. That is a fact.

Nick Foles also didn't drop the TD pass thrown to him...Brady did. Dropping a pass when you're wide open to give your team a 1st and goal isn't a big part of who played better?

What's more, the INT foles threw was a fluke that should've actually been a 50 yd completion. Whereas with the game on the line, Brady threw a pick six right into the hands of Ronald Darby, who promptly dropped it. Not to mention Brady fumbling away the game on the previous series.

Foles clearly out played Brady.

You poor Cowboys fans, in such denial.

He's not my boy, and he works for ESPN. ESPN makes their employees use that wacky QBR stat. It's still considered a joke by everyone who doesn't work for ESPN. Except you I guess.

QBR takes into account scrambling, fumbles, rushing, and the whole nine yards. Nick Foles had an 89 QBR to Brady's 84. That is a fact.

It's based on subjective ratings by ESPN employees who generate the stat. Because it is subjective it produces wacky, inconsistent results, as I documented earlier. It's embarrassing that anyone thinks it "proves" anything.

Nick Foles also didn't drop the TD pass thrown to him...Brady did. Dropping a pass when you're wide open to give your team a 1st and goal isn't a big part of who played better?

Based on that tiny sample size, Foles is a better receiver than Brady. So what. It proves nothing about their performance as quarterbacks. That silly QBR stat probably counts that reception as part of their rating. Lame.

What's more, the INT foles threw was a fluke that should've actually been a 50 yd completion. Whereas with the game on the line, Brady threw a pick six right into the hands of Ronald Darby, who promptly dropped it.

So an interception that was made is less significant to you than an "pick six" that wasn't made. You're desperate.

Foles clearly out played Brady.

You poor Cowboys fans, in such denial.

Um, no. Anyone who uses QBR, passes caught by a quarterback, and a "pick six" that never happened to claim one quarterback outplayed another can't be taken seriously.

For the third time, Foles played very well, I never said he didn't. But anyone who thinks he "outplayed" Brady in that game is delusional. You made a ridiculous, hyperbolic claim and instead of simply backing off you're doubling down and making yourself look sillier. Foles played well and the Eagles TEAM won the game. Isn't that enough for you? No need to go over the edge with silly hyperbolic braggadocio. You're just lowering your credibility.

So........ immobile guys have never in their lives made a play or two that would show some mobility?

Of course the answer to that question is of course they have. But a handful of plays doesn't mean the guy is "mobile".

Foles is not a mobile QB in the mold of Wentz, Rodgers, and guys like Wilson. That was the point.

Geezus, you guys are so full of yourselves now you can't even concede obvious points that don't fit into your world views.

Skip Bayless is a life long Cowboys fan and mega homer. He is your boy.

Nick Foles, Superbowl MVP. Bask in it buddy. :)

Clearly you didn't watch the 2013 season when Foles ran the Read-Option in Chip Kelly's offense and rushed for 221 yds on 57 carries for a 4 yard per carry average*, huh?

*(QB rushing averages are misleading, as all the -1 victory formation kneel downs count against their average as well- so Foles actually had an average closer to 5 yds per carry in 2013).

At any rate, there were numerous plays where Foles showed excellent pocket mobility in the 2013 playoff run.

Just because Bayless is a Cowboys fan it doesn't mean I have to agree with anything he says. If that was the case then I can say an idiot like EDP is "your boy" just because he is an Eagles fan.

Nick Foles, Superbowl MVP. Bask in it buddy. :)

Foles was the MVP because the Eagles TEAM won the game. If the Eagles TEAM had lost and Foles had played exactly the same as he did, Foles wouldn't have been the MVP, now would he. Brady would have been the MVP, even with the stats unchanged. Again, you're really reaching and digging the hole deeper. Quit while you're behind.

One more time:

ESPN's QBR is the dumbest stat in sports (Tom Brady was fifth, behind Ryan Fitzpatrick!)

The fact that you used QBR as "proof" that Foles outplayed Brady tells us all we need to know.

Ok..

He won three games at the end of the season..

and he lost one to Dallas.

That does not make him sacred.

We will see.

Things will be different in 2018.

He may not even stay with Philly.

The team won the game because Foles was almost perfect.

He played 1/4 vs the cowboys, who beat the Eagles backups 6-0.

With Dallas full offense intact, against the Eagles backups, the Cowboys scored six points. Definitely something to be proud of.

Foles had the 3rd greatest playoff run in NFL history en route to winning Superbowl and NFC Championship game MVP honors.

Must suck knowing the Eagles backup is light years better than the Cowboys starter. I understand and forgive your intransigence. :)

He’s about as much a real Cowboy fan as Terry Bradshaw.
