What good is continuity if it never produces in the post season?

None of it will matter if they cheap out in FA again this year.

It is funny to me that people are saying we need someone that will take control and be the boss....and then they think that Moore would have been that guy. There is no evidence that Moore has any fire or leadership ability.

Well, we don't have to worry about that...any Moore.

Dak is a lame QB with a bad wheel, a sub-par arm and below average decision making capability in big games. WHY?!?

Yep, it smacks of ALL-IN or hanging Schott/Dak out to dry as the 'excuse' if we fail again. My money's on the latter.
It's unbelievable to me the richest sports franchise in the world and there is absolutely no cap on the salaries that can be paid the coaches.
This is an area where we could buy the very best along with the fact it's the area where most teams start to build their team properly.

We choose to take the bargain basement root because it's more comfortable for Jerry who shows more and more everyday that he cares nothing about winning that ship has sailed.

Romo going down in 2016 was the second worst thing happen for Dallas. The first was Jerry buying them
We would’ve most likely never got Jimmy and the Triplets if Jerry didn’t buy the team. So i disagree with that. But from the moment he fired Jimmy, everything he’s done has been pathetic!!!

We have an anchor on this franchise at the QB position — we are forced to endure an incompetent buffoon at HC for four years because he at least will keep our remedial QB from having to learn a new offense. Dak’s contract is a curse on this franchise.

The Cowboys decided to promote OC Brian Schottenheimer over waiting for former OC Kellen Moore - coaching NFC Championship Game with Eagles Sunday - at least partly because they viewed his personality as more capable of commanding the room in terms of demanding accountability and establishing leadership.

Continuity of offensive system and positive history with Dak Prescott other factors.

Whew. I’m relieved. Anything for Dakipoo!!!

Jones family knows how to manipulate this fan base. This move was about them not Dak. If they wanted a move to help Dak they would’ve hired Ben Johnson or Kubiak.

This is their escape plan when this move doesn’t work. “Oh we hired him for Dak” lol….

Playing yall like a fiddle again.

Dak’s best season ( not one with most stats) was his rookie year when we were a run dominant team and he would often go under center and play action. When they want him throwing over 30 times a game strictly in shot gun is not a winning recipe
Three legit 1st Team All Pros on the oline, and Zeke 1st Team All Pro too.

That's what is called QB friendly.

And Dak had a great rookie season. Didn't make mistakes, and contributed with his legs as well. 6 TDs.

I think he became a better QB as the years went on, but he never had nearly the supporting cast ever again. Few QBs do.

That's one thing I really admired about Jimmy Johnson.
He never let his players get or be comfortable.
He always had them on edge and playing their best football to keep their spot on the team.
It was a huge advantage for us.

Jerry wanted continuity for himself.
