We've already knocked out our Rooney rule requirements, right? This is a serious offer...

The best thing Dallas can do is bring in Kiff Kigsbury as HC and Anthony Lynn as OC...

Most of the people upset about this particular bit of clickbait had no idea who Lynn was until now.

I'd rather take a chance with a guy that hasn't been a head coach than a guy that's already failed at it.

You all are doing this on every thread and it just gets old you don't realize that this is all names being thrown against the wall these are just Simply put a word as possibilities possible candidates they may not even come in and interview Jerry has not confirmed any of this nonsense, schottenheimer now it's Lynn, blah blah blah how about we just let him interview who he interviews let's let the process workout which by the way everyone keeps saying the calendar somehow behind the 8 ball from who not a single team has hired their head coach or filled out their entire staff the only one who was hired was a slam dunk obvious hire and that was Mike Vrabel going into New England and that was a last minute thing because they fired Mayo and immediately knew who they were going after and there was no way Vrabel was going anywhere else the rest of the teams allegedly had a plan they were way ahead of the Cowboys and yet none of them have hired anyone...hmm strange

Can we let these stories just be stories these are insinuations rumors these are opinions, these are people's feelings, how do you know that Anthony lynn's not interviewing for some other position and that's why his name was put out there?

Till this is validated is a true story from the star from one of the Joneses or someone who's an official from there can we stop acting like this is just like real it's not it's fake news until it's not and everyone gets bent out of shape you guys are bent out of shape as if he's a true candidate like he has much of a chance to get the head coaching job here I'd say that's all nonsense until it's not good...

I still find that strange, they're all retreads, most of the people hired are retreads.

now here's a counterpoint to your theory,

what if they learn from their mistakes they grew as a coach and now their second time around they're going to be a lot better?

I mean there's a lot of first time head coaches, if you want to really break it down, that fail hard, they go from a coordinator who they were really good at their job and then took a first time head coaching gig they typically fail just as much... The ironic thing is they were those guys you're talking about the ones that failed the first time around they were the ones who were elevated from a coordinator position, and it didn't work out....

I'm betting it's very close and fail percentage you got to pick the one that's best suits your current roster the main guys on your roster like the quarterback the pass rusher the guys making the most money you need to find the staff that's going to best suit them I don't care if they're a retread how old they are if you're worried about them failing their first time around or worried about them failing.

That's all in play what I want is the best coaching staff they can put together for this team so when you're interviewing the head coach who is going to be his staff what is his plan for this current core of this roster that's important I don't care if it's one of these regurgitated guys that is mostly who people hire and then people worry about nepotism or hiring a guy that used to be a player you know what that also goes on all around the league why is it like when the Dallas Cowboys do something the rest of the league does as well it seems they get questioned harder on it as if it's the easy way out they don't know what they're doing,

no that happens everywhere all over the league....

33-32 with the Chargers. 1-1 in the postseason.

Another top candidate.
What's funny is he is probably the most winningnest candidate so far.

Compared to Schottenheimer, I'd gladly take Lynn. But that's a low bar for us now.
