Honestly now the most important consideration is which one of the candidates has the network to bring in a good coaching staff.

Pizza boy has only been at Dallas, one year with the Chargers and one with the Eagles. He's 36 years old. Can he fill out a proper staff with innovative up and comers and experienced coaches to help him?

I don't know man.

1. Deion
2. Saleh
3. Moore
4. Frazier
5. Schottenheimer
6. Lynn

We've reached a new low.

Anyone other than these top 2 choices would disappoint me greatly.

Hardly makes sense to me, just interview Kingsbury. Honestly, I be feeling like Jerry be trying to interview guys to for HC to see if they'll accept a lesser role to be apart of the Staff HE (Jerry) is building.

I’d take Moore. He hasn’t proven he’s a bad head coach yet
What team has fired somebody on their staff-not a head coach. Then rehire them years later as a HC??? Waiting...................Moore was horrible as an OC. He sucks in Philly. Without Barkley they have no offense. REALLY

actually my post makes the most sense if you're going to accuse the Cowboys of something as if it's isolated on an island and they only do it...

but there's actual facts to disprove what you said ,that I'm allowed to expand that discussion with my facts ,that the NFL does this all the time... apparently Dan Quinn in our division is a retread before that they hired Rivera, Mike McCarthy was a retread but in 2020 he was the best we have the facts and it's not even close that he had the most success out of all the hires in 2020..
literally Jim Harbaugh a fan fave here as they wanted him, , is a retread and he's doing pretty well year one over there and pretty much almost every coach hired, I'd say 75% or in some ways a retread...
so that is a standard practice in the NFL,
therefore I get to bring it up because you're acting like this is only hey Jerry Jones or Dallas Cowboys thing to do also bringing back Ex-players as coaches, that is also a standard in most sports, but it includes the NFL but since you're making Dallas a point of emphasis if it's something they do that nobody else does.
I have to make sure you have all the facts and you did not you want to pick on Jerry, you want to accuse the front office, so you just try to make it like it's them only, and I'm making sure there's clarity.
so don't POST something unless you understand we're all allowed to reply as long as it's relative and it's very relative to this information.
I was agreeing with you. That’s why I complemented your post.

Schotty/Lynn would be a super uninspiring combo.

I will say, Lynn was a disaster as a HC, but he's schemed up a good run game almost everywhere he's gone. What's Schotty's calling card? In 18 years as an OC, when has he even been average at something?

Well I'm not used to that except my apology and I'm not used to giving apologies but things get lost in these posts and who said what and why they're saying it and then you have to figure out who's being sarcastic who's being serious all that good stuff so I'm just trying to calm people down 'cause nobody wants to relax they wanna get angry they want preemptive strikes on complaining and it happens all around the NFL that's why I try to tell people here people were wasting their energy about Mike McCarthy they didn't like that he was hired they called him a yes man he was retired nobody else wanted him and yet he was the best coaching hire of 2020 the proof is all there I mean people can be upset that he didn't get further in the playoffs but he was the most successful head coach hired in 2020 by far there's no comparison he had the most wins and success playoff appearances everything so I just gotta wait and see who they hire who they fill out the staff with but I'm most looking forward to the draft and free agency and the football season and I will always be a fan no matter who is running the team or coaching the team so it's a waste of energy to complain so much...

He wouldn’t be my choice but we aren’t making this choice. Jerry likes Moore and that’s why he’s an option, not because he’s the best choice. I would have went for Johnson no matter what it took but Jerry won’t pay what it would take

To clarify. I thought you made good points and was sarcastically referring to the echo chamber that would be arguing with you.

Carry on!

I wanna say this much. All the arguments I hear about Shotty is trash and he NEVER BEEN A HC BEFORE is BS!!! The whining and crying about why didnt we contact the hot names out there like Ben Johnson and Glenn, Brady or Cohen, is asinine. Heres why, does anyone realize that THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN A HC IN THE NFL EITHER?!!!! Thats right, they never did it before so whats the difference between Shotty or those hot names? None of them have been a HC. Glenn is like 1 year older than Shotty, anyone realize that? My GAWD, the media and fans sometimes are either ignorant to the facts or just hating no matter what we do. The odds of Shotty being successful are much greater than Glenn or Johnson. The Bears and Jets are perennial dumpster fires. If we do hire Shotty for HC, lets take a wait and see approach before we cast stones. I rather have Deion but its unlikely. Shotty isn't chopped liver. He does command a room and can lead. His success will be hinged on the draft and his staff, who they are will be very vital. Im more interested on who his DC is, than him.
