What I learned the most is you don't know what you are talking about and are now just grasping at anything. None of your responses to me have made any sense. First you say Romo's arm strength is the same as Orton's I guess that's what you are saying and then you come up with this lameness.

Actually what I'm saying is you don't know the difference between and quick release and arm strength. But carry on with the lecture.

Frustration OK you could see it on a lot of people's faces. Hatcher made an assumption probably with a little insight from players but to assume every run play was audibled to pass play without knowing every single play call made is conjecture. Murray is a competitive athlete I am sure he wants the ball every 3rd and 2. I would be frustrated too if on every third and two they call a pass whether its and audible or not.

I wouldn't and didn't say "Everytime" but I'd venture to say a great deal or the majority of the time. It was out of hand...

Does any one actually know what was said or is this more throw up from Ed?

Well, I think the statement was not just about last year. It was about the past several years. This is more about how you approach the game and not just about individual stats and that's part of what I'm talking about. You can't throw the football 50 times a game and expect to be in it at the end of seasons IMO. Balance is a much better approach and I hope it's the way we go about the game from here on. I hope we are done with that kind of Football. Time will tell I suppose.

If Orton didn't like Romo throwing the ball 50 times a game, he should take it up with the freaking head coach and not Romo................Garrett stood right there on the sideline and watched all those passes and didn't say jack about it, so that's on him.

Besides, a backup QB that is a journeyman in the league questioning a franchise QB with a $100 million dollar contract and multiple probowls to his name is laughable.

Orton is a punk....forced his way out of dallas and ironically, finds himself in a worse situation...he will actually have to work a little now...just a matter of time before everyone hates him in buffalo

also, 130+ posts for that nothing? (of which I just contributed :D)

Honestly guys, I don't know that Orton is wrong here. I think it's clear that in the recent past, Tony has had a lot of control over what is being called and when. It would appear that this has changed, at least in the early going, to an extent this season. I know that if I'm a player on a team and I believe that we could win if we just did X, and we never embraced that, I would be really pissed about it as well and it wouldn't take long to tire of it. I mean think about it, is it really all that hard to identify with?

That seems reasonable but you know the hate that the fanbase loves to help on ex-players. I still want to know more about this power struggle (need to read the rest of the thread).

How do you no he didn't do that? How do you know that his decision to leave was not driven by such an interaction? How do you know that his statements were even directed towards Romo? There is zero proof of what these comments actually mean. This is all supposition at this point.

Rather than once again making a villain of the media or attacking Orton personally, I choose to at least believe what he's saying certainly could be true. We are a highly dysfunctional football team thanks to the Owner. It wouldnt shock me if there was some great internal struggle between the head coach and the then offensive coordinator.

Why is this even news? Who gives a crap about what a backup QB, now on his FIFTH nfl team, didn't like here?

http://www.***BANNED-URL***/sports/...th-tony-romo-a-reason-why-he-left-cowboys.ece

Orton had a bad relationship with Tim Tebow, too.

Uh, I think it's you, Kyle. How can you have a bad relationship with Tony Romo? He's the easiest going cat in the locker room.

Orton wanted to hold a clipboard and make that easy money. Romo's back scared him off. Actually having to play in Buffalo was not in his plans.
