Twitter: Werder: Orton hated offensive power struggle in Dallas

I think there's more to it then that but I agree, the D was not good last year by any stretch. However, we really didn't help them much in our style of Offense. If you know you don't have a strong D, you try to keep them off the field.

I don't generally disagree with what you're saying here. It's just a matter of degree. That's nearly a 6:1 td/int ratio for a QB on an 0-7 team. That's crazy.

Who was that poster who said we'd be better with Orton than Romo?

Well were about to find out WHAT kyle as a full time starter looks like.

I agree. It is an impressive stat.

WOW, you learn something new every day in here, thanks for that.

What I learned the most is you don't know what you are talking about and are now just grasping at anything. None of your responses to me have made any sense. First you say Romo's arm strength is the same as Orton's I guess that's what you are saying and then you come up with this lameness.

Sorry Kyle. Romo doesn't like candlelight diners, long walks at the beach and sunsets. Find yourself another man if you want a relationship.

I think the point was if you were not in the huddle, how do you know what 2 plays were called so romo could audible out of an "obvious" run play to an "obvious" pass play.

Why did Hatcher call Romo out about not running the ball? You could literally see the frustration dripping off Murray's face last year. And now we see him unleashing said furry every single time he touches the ball, he makes every single run count, like it's the last time he will ever get a shot......

Who's he playing for now....

I'll just text his accountant to get 'er straight.

ROFL. Orton rates somewhere below Dan Bailey on the "power" scale.
He was a high paid clipboard holder.

Hope he gets to enjoy that Buffalo winter weather.

He'll be on the bench, wearing a buffalo pelt by then.

That power struggle he complained about -- simply his failure to obtain any.

A reminder that players can be criticized whilst in Dallas, bc when they're gone man do we turn on them

Uhh yeah "we" turned on Orton. He deserves our loyalty and respect for sitting out the preseason, refusing to show up, and slinking away.

Grab yourself a Bills jersey and love on Orton all you want. To Cowboy fans he's garbage.

I'm not saying that Mr. Blue Suit made this up (always a possible with him), but I just find it hilarious that he would bring up the Cowboys.

What does Orton...who is playing for Buffalo in a different conference...have to do with the Cowboys at this moment?

And what offensive power struggle was going on last year?

But more importantly, there is no offensive power struggle going on now except of if DeMarco is going to run for 150 yards or 200 yards. So what does Orton have to do with this year's Cowboys team?

And who really cares about the relationship between a backup QB that played 1 game in 2-years and the starting QB?

Mr. Blue Suit must be looking for the ESPN spotlight again.

YR
you are exactly right. Werder is trying to justify the story even though it is borderline relevant. This is a grab for more clicks.

I can't see who you were quoting, but I can imagine what was said. LOL

You know, I liked Orton, and I still do. I was really glad we got him. I do not like how he left at all, but honestly I blame Jerry more than I do him in some ways. They played poker and Jerry folded.

I prefer the way he left over Clint Longley anyway.

What, you think he shoulda sucker punched Jerry in the forhead, whilst in a drunken stupor and then hit the door?

I admit, that could have been entertaining as well....

Frustration OK you could see it on a lot of people's faces. Hatcher made an assumption probably with a little insight from players but to assume every run play was audibled to pass play without knowing every single play call made is conjecture. Murray is a competitive athlete I am sure he wants the ball every 3rd and 2. I would be frustrated too if on every third and two they call a pass whether its and audible or not.
