exactly it.So are many fans as well.

Or maybe MIKE knew the problem was the OC...not all on the players...When a HC has to save a QB from himself then the issue isn;t the running game or the recently dismissed OC but.....the QB!!!!!!
This is a bit confusing coz something isn't adding up.........timing, sequence, play design??????
I mean MM says Kellen wanted to light up the scoreboard, he wanna rub the ball........
The quarterbacks inaccuracies under pressure were what kept this team from advancing Running game could not change that. Good defenses will cause us grief until our QB can and will throw early to tight covered receivers. This is what separates good college QBs from the few who make pros . Dak is what his scouting report says he is .
not really. Dak is what he is- an average to good quarterback. Where he gets into trouble is when he gets too aggressive. He’s shown he can play at elite levels for stretches but not consistently. Where dak and the cowboys get into trouble is by giving dak free reign for him to try and prove he’s an elite guy. Most Quarterbacks need to be managed- Parcells tried to do this with Romo and simms . Holmgren with Favre. Etc. it’s pretty common in the nfl. When a HC has to save a QB from himself then the issue isn;t the running game or the recently dismissed OC but.....the QB!!!!!!
Same play called on the same down and same formation. Obvious.RUNNING UP THE MIDDLE EVERY TIME IS THE PROBLEM!!!
All of that. KM called a lot of 1st down runs that was up the middle or a zone right or left...easy for a defense to read. Having better play design will help present more for the defense to think about/prepare for.
The other issue was KM reverses and trick plays on 2nd and long, which, resulted in more loss of yards.
Lastly, having healthy explosive RBs carrying the ball will help add more to the run game. Play action should really help the open up the passing game.
We know have power blocking O-Line coaching. That will help. Let our big guys be aggressive..Healthy EXPLOSIVE that's all you needed to say Pollard and another back that can get you 4 yards a carry or more and actually threatens a defense will help us tremendously
I believe Jerry and son think you have to win like they did in the 90s. They also think that being a running team is what the fans will galvanize around (and spend for). This is what makes an already running team’s coach say something so stupid as we need to not light up the scoreboard and run it to help the defense.
Werder’s numbers are what we already knew. So does the coach and owners.
Most fans will twist themselves into pretzels to show that yes, they did run it heavily and well, but just not quite the right way. Whatever.
Question: since coach Mac’s history doesn’t match what he is stating about running the ball more, then who do you think is influencing or even dictating this revelation to pound the rock even more?

for all the veiled hatred and shade MM gets, he's a damn solid HC and we are blessed 2 have him. He gets it. He understands his players and what they can be. He didn't wanna get rid of KM but knew it was best for the team. He did right and has a ring 2 prove it. This is a team game and when u have an OC that doesn't really understand nor care about situational calls, its hard 2 win. Thats what made Reid and Bienemy so great. They had an understanding. Mike had 0 choice here.
yes they do but they can't change the QB(yet) and ownership. They can only change what they can change and KM was the easy low hanging fruit. The right call but much more is needed. That is true.Amen
Draft hopefully will be good for us.Let's get more big guys that are aggressive!!

thats a key YES. This game is still won and lost in the trenches. Its not very sexy but its true.Let's get more big guys that are aggressive!!
