We're the team to beat!

That's kind of funny because most here seems to think that Lloyd and Randle El are a couple of nobodys that we overpaid. But anyway, I just went to your "official website of the Cowboys" and it was 99% TO and 1% John Fabini. That tells me a lot. When the Skins signed Lloyd, Randle El, Carter and Archilletta, they were given equal billing on Commanders.com.
You need to go back and read. People have said you "overpaid" not that the signings will not "matter."

If someone says that a signing is mediocre or we overpaid, do they really have to say that the signing doesn't matter? I can draw my own conclusions.

Reading comprehension be damned, there's mud to sling.

Great philosophy. [/sarcasm off]

You know as well as I do if I would ask the question "do the signings of Lloyd and Randle El matter", most on this board would say no. And they'll be wrong.

They have/had a thread over at ES asking something like, "Who's the best reciever in the NFL...."?

Guess who everyone over there said was the best? Yup, Santana Moss! :laugh2:

Santana Moss is so much better then even T.O.! T.O. is to old and slow now...he cannot run or catch as good as Santana Moss! :lmao:

It is freaking hilarous over there! Santana Moss burned the Boyz twice, so now the Boy is an Idol God to those idiots!

I do not get it. I visited ES and a bunch of Skins fans keep talking trash about the Dallas D.

Lets review for just a second:

Points Allowed:
Wash 18.3 /game 9th NFL
Dallas 19.3 / game 12th NFL

Yards Per Game:
Wash 297.9 /game 9th NFL
Dallas 300.9 /game 10th NFL

Rush Yards Per Game:
Wash 105.4 /game 13th NFL
Dallas 108.2 /game 15th NFL

Pass Yards Per Game:
Wash 192.6 /game 10th NFL
Dallas 192.7 /game 11th NFL

Sacks:
Wash 35 20th NFL
Dallas 37 16th NFL

I dont know how Dallas was able to be virtually tied with Washington in every single major defensive category. I mean Washington has way better defensive talent and defensive coordinator.

my comment about owens playing D wasnt meant to be a knock on dallas' D necessarily. i was only pointing out that there are other holes that all teams need to fill. dallas will have flozell back and i think that should help them tremendously.

skins fans have good reason to be excited. they had no number 2 or 3 WR, yet the O overall played well. adding the players they added really seems to upgrade the team that was the last one standing in the east.

if dallas' o line -and jj- can stay healthy, bledsoe will be good and the O overall should be much improved.

I will give you credit Riggo, but go to ES for about one minute and you will see Skins fans tear down Williams, Newman, Henry, LBs minus Ware, and DL.

I am just trying to figure out how Dallas has such sorry D talent and D coordinator yet statistically Wash and Dallas are almost mirror images of each other.

As for the Skins in their offseason, I dont pay attention to the cap. There are plenty of capoligist on this board and I am not one of them. I just look at the acquisitions, and yes you guys should be excited. I would much rather face Moss, Jacobs, and Thrash than Moss, Lloyd and Randle El.

I have never been impressed by Adam Archuleta, but who know maybe GW can get something out of him others have not been able to.

Sean Salsbury? Come on, how about a real expert, Skip Bayless. He says we're still the worst team in the East!

I dont think saying we are the team to beat is that far off base.

This team was very close last season......erase a couple of ingeries we would have been right smack dab in the middle of the playoffs.

JJ & BP have made very significant improvements to the OL and we have very adequate backups. Put that with a healthy Adams & Rivera we are ready to rumble..

Forget his past this is now......Owens bring that spark, that swagger to the O we have been lacking since the playmaker retired.

Have no doubts.....We will Get a kicker and an OLB.........This Chicken Little has been plucked.

WE will be the team to beat in the East.......and who knows if this team really gels and I think it will.....we will contend for the whole shoot'n Match.

wow, never seen you so optimistic before CB

and I agree, we're only a OLB and PK away...

If the only 2 optional answers are yes and no, then I'd agree with you. That would be the case.

There will always be resentment votes. You know about those. You're trying to spin doctor one yourself out of some sort of resentment mode.

Every forum is made up of different levels of fan. Even amongst the opposing team's fans. I'd never welcome being a bottm scraper. Not even for some convoluted sense of revenge.
