Talent?

Tampa Bay was too confused and likely talentless to do anything with whatever they picked up. It's been a while since we played Carolina and honestly we mostly just ran on them, same with the Giants. Even still the Giants made a huge play based on knowing what the Cowboys were audibling to.

Troy on WFAN later. said Brady criticized the absurd throwing at Champ but it seems Denver knew out plays based on formation.

no surprise but any more links?
This again?

Here you go:

Below is the complete, one minute excerpt pertaining to Tom Brady's comment from the nearly 30 minute interview, which you can listen to in its entirety via this link: http://audio.weei.com/m/26718540/tom-brady-patriots-qb.htm#

Now, after listening to Brady himself, who believes that he was specifying Romo himself or the execution of the team's gameplan?

[EDIT] Here's the thing about always providing links on this site...

If you post anything specific to someone else's public commentary, you can also provide your fellow readers with the complete summation of what you're attempting to convey. The article, from which the original comments were copied-and-pasted from AND which contained a link to the interview itself, could have been linked to. In fact, it should have been linked as per forum guidelines.

how many points has this offense score the past 2 games? and just because they know something's coming doesn't mean they will stop it everytime. In Baseball sometimes a hitter knows a pitcher is gonna throw a fastball but they don't always hit it. In basketball at the end of a game with the Lakers down by a point they know Kobe is gonna get the ball but they don't always stop him.

When my two year old squints her face a certain way, I know she is going to have a serious turbo lax style boom boom. Sometimes I get her to the can, sometimes I don't.

the giants were sold as having the best defense in the league and the most fearsome front 7 around.

this pathetic group that needs a new coach and new qb scored 31 on them.

I am just trying to figure out how that is possible if we are terrible on offense? and if we are what does it say about the teams we played?

I doubt they knew the exact plays. Wouldn't shock me if they knew run or pass a good amount of the time but I don't think they knew the plays.

Maybe they do know. It's possible. But that's really not the biggest problem. If a team is good enough they can give the other team their playbook and tell them exactly what they're going to run and there shouldn't be anything the other team can do to stop it.

There have been plenty of examples of this on championship teams through out my life where teams could pretty much know exactly what they were going to do, and wanted to do, and would to do pretty much the whole time and they still couldn't stop them.

We have bad play calling, bad execution, and always seem like we're running plays that we dont even bother to practice.

So.... former OC of the Patriots* video crew does the same in Denver?

Is that what they are trying to say?

Well if that is true, then how are we getting any yards?

we are the 4th ranked offense, if everyone knows our plays what doest that say about the giants, tampa and carolina?

typical reply from a pom-pom'er

how many did we score in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th QR vs DEN. if you throw a few test plays at an offense after a while it seems as if you can crack the code (unless the offensive play is spectacular you can tilt a field).

deny or not, i'm passing along what mike said and he's pretty plugged in. he's wrong about many things but he's not an an anti-jason crusade or anything.

As stated in another post, film study. The other thing to consider is that certain situations limit what the play call can/should be.Example,a screen is a slow developing play that most likely would not be used within the red zone,as opposed to a quick slant/fade route. With enough film study one can pick up tendancies, what is the most likely call on 3rd and 15 as well as who is the most likely target. With enough film study you can pick up alot of weaknesses a team/player has. While the game in itself is physical, the mental aspect of the game is underappreciated by many.
