What’s wrong with Parsons?

Nothing’s wrong with him. 2 things happening here:

1. He’s banged up. Has been for a while. And,

2. He’s literally being held on like 60-70% of his pass rush attempts and NEVER gets the call. Ever. That wears on you mentally. It’s BS. Jerry and Co. need to contact the league office about this matter this off-season because it’s getting ridiculous.
I noticed him being held 2 or 3 times yesterday, no call.

He looks lackadaisical and frankly he’s just not making enough plays anymore. I don’t want to hear injury excuses 100% of players are dealing with something. He doesn’t have the same burst, power, intensity. Thoughts on his regression?

I have not read any other posts yet. But I think he is just worn out. And it shows in the 2nd half of the games.
Yet he refuses to come out of the game. This is on the coaching staff. They need to get him in check.

Since we are pretty much locked into the 5th seed, heck maybe the 6th if they don't get it together. They need to rest him more.
I still say if the Washington game is a meaningless game for us, rest the starters. I know many don't like that, coming out flat and all of that. However, better than being worn out and doing nothing...again...

Nothing! He had a sack, 2 TFL, a fumble recovery and 2 QB hits.

Every week with this nonsense

The guy has two or three blockers hanging all over him every single down. At some point other guys have to step up and make plays when they are given all of the 1v1 opportunities that Micah affords them.

He played a good game yesterday. If he plays a game like that for 17 games he is a first team all-pro. This place is insufferable after a loss (or win by less than 20 points).

The "worn out" thing is silly. They give him plenty of plays off. Plus he is supposed to be a highly conditioned athlete, some say an "athletic freak".

He's a one trick pony. And that gets contained in the NFL eventually.
Plus upstairs he's more concerned with his sack #s and being a media star. Anotherwords a perfect Jerry Jones Cowboy.

Here is one thing I absolutely hate. He's wearing down rushing the passer so much that you have him off the field for certain series. On the long pass drive that the jags scored, he wasn't on the field the entire drive.

This has happened several times this year actually, they take him out for a drive or two after we score like it isn't a big deal. Then the opposing team goes and scores. Hell I've seen a couple drives this year where he came back onto the field mid drive and the offense stalled right there.

If he's getting that worn down rushing every play, play him at LB some. He's too good of a player not to be on the field the entire game.

Secondly, what someone said before. Teams aren't going to let Micah beat them. They are doubling him a lot. Someone else has to step up. Its the NFL, teams adjust. we need to adjust back.

Micah has already told us that going up against mammoth offensive linemen has taken its toll on him.
This isn't a matter of ego; it's a matter of physics.

It's clear that both Parsons and Lawrence are getting beaten down physically. Whatever McCarthy's country club practice schedule was meant to accomplish it aint workin'. Guys are dropping like flies and the guys that are out there are getting beat to hell.

Probably nothing wrong with Parsons.
Teams now know neutralizing Parsons is one key to beating the cowboys. The other is to get Dak to dance the happy feet dance.

Like others have said he is misused and over used.
