What’s your opinion on what Greg Olsen said about “taking the foot off the gas” in the fourth quarter?

Sorry Giants, but how can the guys down the depth chart get a real game experience by cutting 70% out of the playbook?

Also, from their perspective, how would it feel being one of those guys coming on the field just to run it up the *** when your opponent knows your going to run it up the ***. Thanks a lot coach!

I disagree. And it’s not Bc it’s a rival and there’s no love lost. It’s Bc it’s still a fake and our guys wanna play. We want rush to get chemistry with his guys. We wanna see bass.

We also want to get guys some stats for their careers.

and also I think it’s safer for our offense to keep the ball and let the clock wind down rather than have our defense out there having to chase the giants around who will be throwing it around.

It’s really not that serious . And honestly the giants should apologize to us for not giving us a good challenge
Foot was entirely off the gas. We had in backups everywhere but OT. And if Richards was active we probably would have had backups there too

the defense gets paid to stop the offense

i NEVER liked people getting mad other teams keep their foot on the gas....

like i dont wanna be apart of the biggest comeback ever produced

what if Devito throw for 7 touchdowns in the 4th quarter?

Felt like Mike Leach was coaching. Having said that I’m glad Coop got to do more than just hand off for 15 minutes

Throwing the ball that much that final drive was "bush". There was no reason for that.

There are no real practices during the season. Whatever each team needs to do to get meaningful reps is on them. No such thing as foot on the gas or not. It’s about getting better.

I think it’s stupid. It’s more of a time to work on things than it is to worry about your opponents feelings.

I am old school so for me, you don't throw on 1st and 2nd down when the game is out of hand in the 4th quarter. Running up the score shows up the opponent and that isn't sportsmanship. Besides, with the game out of reach just run down the clock and end the game as quickly as possible. I'd hate to see someone get hurt late in the game when the game could have been over.

What was the point of trying to score late while putting in the second string defense that allowed a score?

But I get it, the 2nd string guys who played deserve a chance to have some fun too.

Giants certainly weren’t in a hurry to end things. That was the longest final 2 minutes. The point of trying to score is being able to work on certain plays, matchups, strategies, coverages. The list goes on and on and real game situations are invaluable for young players.

There was almost 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter no reason not to let Rush run the offense and get some valuable work in.

I could care less about taking the foot off the gas. Honestly if the Giants don't stop trying to score why should the Cowboys? You're getting your backup QB actual game time reps and I see no issue with doing that. If the Giants didn't like it they could always try and stop em, no?
If the Dallas O was a well oiled machine i would say tap the breaks, but this offense needs as many productive snaps as they can get.
